We boarded Cookie, our green check conure, with Suzanne for 10 days during holiday break. This was the first time in 2 years we were leaving her for a longer period of time. We had to do it on the short notice, and we were so lucky to find Suzanne. She is an expert in bird care and has so much knowledge and passion. She gave us vet recommendation, took time to explain a few details about Cookie’s behavior and gave a ton of useful advice. The boarding conditions were top notch. The cages are large and clean. Suzanne setup the cage and took a lot of time to explain us the proper way of doing it. The food was perfect and, honestly, better than we were serving Cookie at home - we definitely took notes on it and improved. Suzanne offers out-of-cage play time when she interacts with the bird. This was very important for us, since Cookie spends a lot of time out of cage at home. I cannot imagine a better boarding facility for parrots, and we will be coming back in future for sure.

Suzanne is an absolutely wonderful soul and I've not met anyone more passionate about caring for her own parrots and outside birds she tends to, as well as the ones she's boarding. Her space to board these birds is full of love and warmth and she absolutely goes the extra mile make sure any feathered friend in her care is loved and, as the name suggests, PAMPERED beyond belief. She also hosts and sells an expansive variety of toys, food, and general products to keep your feathery child happy, entertained, and healthy at an extremely reasonable cost. And as if it couldn't get any better: if you have questions about parrot care, tips, techniques, vet reccomendations, you name it, she has the answers or the resources to point you in the right direction. Please ignore the couple of unfounded and riduculous reviews/claims below, they are simply untrue and inaccurate, I am VERY happy with my experience, 10 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suzanne loves and understands birds, and she treats each feathered being as a respected individual. Over the years I've known Suzanne, she's always been mindful about keeping the birds in her care safe and healthy. I highly recommend her services.

You simply cannot do better than Suzanne and Pampered Parrot. She is PHENOMENAL! She provides personalized, loving care and has the professional education and training to help you care for your own bird better. She loves birds and goes the extra, extra mile to care for your bird and bond with them. Incredible avian knowledge and a wonderful person. We boarded our conure with Pampered Parrot for several weeks while selling our home and relocating to another state. Suzanne is a GREAT communicator and stayed in touch with us throughout the process providing us updates and pics of a very happy “Kirby” which really helped my wife and I focus on what we had to do and not worry about our bird. When we picked him up he hopped from my shoulder back to Suzanne where he nuzzled her neck. You will not find a more loving or better person to care for your bird. She really makes them feel at home. Highly recommend!

Hi Kyanh, Thank you for contacting me about training your budgie. What are you wanting your bird to do? Suzanne
I am not a vet but can certainly recommend an excellent avian vet. These are my top vets -- Dr. James Onorati (Des Moines, WA), Dr. Bridget Ferguson (Maple Valley), and Dr. Elizabeth Kamaka (Mountlake Terrace). If your bird is not feeling well, you need to get him/her to a good vet asap -- ideally right away. Because their schedules are likely full, they will probably ask you to leave your bird with them so they can fit in an exam and start treatment immediately after the exam. You can trust all of these vets to do their best to help your bird get well. Suzanne
