Got the pumpernickel everything house smoked salmon bagel and the Mrs Maisel sandwich on rye bread. Everything was delicious, especially the bagel and the rye bread. Better to order ahead online for pickup as it can get busy during lunch hours and you might have to wait a bit if ordering on the spot.

We ordered trays for an event, and we couldn't have been happier with the quality of food, display and arrangement of the items, and the customer service. Bagels, lox, cream cheese, sliced tomatoes, onions, capers. Pastrami and turkey sandwiches on marbled rye. All perfect, and exactly what you would expect from any Jewish deli back east. The coleslaw and potato salad, just like home. Bagels were baked/boiled in halves which was perfect for deli platters and had the perfect consistency. Cream cheese assortments were spot on and not overwhelming. Lox, again, just like home and not some PNW substitution. I would highly recommend Dingfelder's for any occasion you want authentic east coast deli foods, be it a Bar Mitzvah, Shiva, Wedding, or other celebratory event.

Everything is good. Finally had the pastrami and I can safely say it’s same caliber as the established delis in NY. Amazing flavor.

Dingfelder's is a New York Jewish style delicatessen located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood just east of downtown Seattle (2 blocks from the infamous "CHAZ/CHOP"). I don't believe the food is 100% certified Kosher but maybe "Kosher style". 5* for friendly & courteous service; 4* for taste & quality of food; 2.5* for price & value. The 2 meat combo, pastrami & brisket hot sandwich on classic caraway rye was delicious. The meat was succulent and flavorful. The rye bread had the right amount of sour taste and spongy consistency. However, the petit size/quantity hardly justified the outrageous $24 price. The whole sandwich was smaller than a half sandwich of a typical NY deli. I've enjoyed a much bigger & truly shareable identical sandwich at Corkey & Lenny's back in Cleveland, OH for $14. The famous Carnegie Deli in NYC, which closed to the dismay of many in December 2020, had classic Reubens and pastrami sandwiches that were impossible to bite into because the meat was stacked so high. No way a typical person could finish it alone. Plus, you got whole kosher dill pickles, not a few slices like from Dingfelder's. The matzo ball soup was hearty and the trio of potato latkes were 😋. But again, overpriced. An ignorant Seattleite might say well those must be NY prices but not so. The total for the three items ordered + tax & tip was nearly $50. It would've cost a third less at Katz's in SoHo and you'd get way more ! for your $ at the 2nd Ave Deli. For those of us who miss the NY classic Jewish delicatessen standards like bagel & lox from Zabar's in the UWS, pastrami, egg & cheese from Frankel's in Brooklyn, blintzes from Mechey's, knishes from Mill Basin or whitefish on challah from Gottlieb's, plus the indisputable king of the classic NY cheesecake from Carnegie Deli (forget the Cheesecake Factory...😒), Dingfelder's may disappoint. Conclusion: decent quality, excellent & friendly service but bring your wallet. Support your local restaurants, especially during this seemingly never ending pandemic.

It is on the menu as an addition to some sandwiches
They do not have dine-in at this time, just a pick-up window.
REAL Jewish deli. Agree with Luke, AMAZING pastrami!! Best we've had.
They definitely have enough meat for two but the bread slices are regular sandwich size.
Just Babka and Rugelach
