This experience was pretty solidly okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. The wait was very long, but I think that was just because they were understaffed so that can’t really be held against them. It wasn’t busy at all though so I can’t imagine what the wait would be if the place was packed. The food tasted good but wasn’t anything special. Not sure if the quality matched the price. One thing I will say is the menu needed some clarification. My mom ordered the Steak Oscar. Direct quote from the menu: “filet mignon medallions, grilled asparagus, lobster meat, bernaise sauce & roasted garlic potatoes” The plate arrived and we searched for the lobster meat only to find small chunks in the sauce (which my mom had asked for on the side for dietary reasons). I realize this is a small detail, but for someone with dietary restrictions, details are important. If the menu had said there was a lobster bernaise sauce, it would have been much clearer. All in all we probably won’t return but not because they did anything wrong. We just know there are better places out there. But if you need a place to go on a Sunday night when a bunch of other places are closed, it does the job.

Fish was good, hamburger was ok. Nice atmosphere, poor service. Under staffed, took forever. Waiter doubled as bartender. Drinks tasted like no alcohol. Sunset beats on you if eating outside.

Steamers hosted the youth hockey team i help assist with this past weekend. We reserved the banquet room on multiple occasions. The food was spectacular and the service was even better! Thank you so much for the hospitality while we were in town for the weekend. Should we ever end up back in Oswego in the future, a revisit will definitely be in order!
