The service was great, the food was not. The new York steak is so thin, they could have served it raw and it still would be over cooked. The shrimp was flavorless. Calamari was mediocre at best. The only thing they seemed to get right was the potatoes. Both the mashed potatoes and the fries were pretty good. If you are looking for quality food, I would go elsewhere. The 4.3 start review for this place was disappointingly deceiving.

My family loves The Big Elk! It is right down the street from our house so it’s convenient! But on top of that the servings are huge and the drinks are amazing! Whether it’s breakfast during the week or family dinner on the weekends, our first choice for a meal out is here! The staff is amazing anytime we have ever visited but Stephanie is our favorite waitress! And she makes the best drinks❤️

What an incredible restaurant! The food was amazing , the staff was attentive and we left with full bellies ! The restaurant was so clean and the bathrooms too. We never waited for refills, and were very happy with our experience. I ordered the chowder and it did not disappoint. My children had breakfast and my husband had the elk burger . Nice large serving sizes and everything came out hot ! We loved it 😊
