Thank you Officer Bailey for helping me with my parking problem. He was nice, listened, & gave me some very good advice. I appreciate it so much!

Extremely disappointed in one of your police officers today. Heard a loud explosion in my apartment complex. A couple of teenagers had set off a morter in the playground of my apartment complex, hurting a couple of kids. The playground was full of people. Everyone inside came out to see what the explosion was. You were called on the non emergency number. The officer showed up and spoke to a few of the people that were playing basketball when it happened. He also spoke to one of the kids who was hurt. The other was her brother. She told him her ears were ringing and that her brother got hit in the leg with shrapnel. I know where the kids live that did this. I told the officer this and he told me next time I see them to tell them " Hey! Knock it off!" Exact words. Seriously!?! Knock it off? Total disbelief! What a joke! I might be crazy but to me this is a serious situation. They could have hurt someone badly or possibly killed someone and that's your solution. There were children playing on the playground! They came back to see the damage, laughing about what they just did. This was not a little firecracker. This was a morter!!! I'd say that's damn close, if not considered a bomb. Especially in the manner they used it. But yes, next time I see them I'll be sure and tell them "Hey! Knock it off!" That will surely get the point across of how serious of a situation this could have been.

Vancouver police are a joke. I called once for a domestic violence situation and no one showed up. I called again (different situation) for a violent situation/theft but by the time they showed up they had already fled the scene. I was told if they showed up again to call the cops and they'd be arrested. Sure enough not even 6 hours later they showed up. Did they do anything? No. If I could rate zero stars I would. Do yourself a favor and take care of the problem yourself if you can.

Honestly I agree with you I'm not even sure why they built that place. They should have made it all Park because the police are never there I was there at 1 p.m. in the afternoon and there was a phone you could lift that would connect you with another police precinct that actually had people working at it they should have just made an armed parking lot and a larger Park. Why have that nice office building. Maybe they shouldn't have built anything there and put another couple officers on the street. Vancouver never makes good decisions though.
You can go online and make a report with the postal inspector or contact the post office for the information. You can also dial 311 and a Patrol Support Technician can take a theft report if you know what exactly was stolen.

That's not a crime. It's not nice, but it's not punishable by law. Good luck.
I am not sure. I would call and ask
Call 311 to make a missing persons report
Call the DMV and ask. Most state ran offices don't allow weapons of any kind, license of not. But it doesn't hurt to call them.
