Nice short little stroll. Went near dusk and my husky did well, no other dogs at the time.

This actually the Cougar Creek Trail. Starts at 119th st and goes half a mile to the Salmon Creek Trail. The path follows the creek the whole way and you can scramble into the little canyon and see tiny waterfalls.

Some paved trails, some wild trails. Enjoyable area with shade and sun areas. Turtle pond has wildlife which is fun to visit with kids or just to relax and enjoy. Enjoyable walk. Most sections are about 1.0-1.5 miles.

It was a pleasurable walk. The whole area is clean and crisp. There are memorial benches situated here and there along the trails. There is a pond with turtles, ducks and birds, there is a creek, a small man made lake. When you walk, jog or bike in Salmon Creek Trail, it would seem you are doing these activities in a wildlife refuge. It is certainly an amazing place to be one with nature. This is a very popular area so be prepared to share the trails with bikers and dogs.

Questions & Answers

Can you start this trail from Klineline? If so, will it loop around and back? I was looking at the map and it appears to be a giant loop but I am not completely sure if this is accurate. Thank you!

A part of it might loop but not the whole thing. You can start it from klineline. Its roughly 3mi one way from klineline area down to lakeshore ave. Good walk
