I love this store but I had a horrible experience with a girl with short hair & a bunch of colors on it, I gave her some cash & a quarter, she didn’t ask about my rewards number she had to redo the price, it went down so I just said I’ll do the cash only & she threw the coin to me. Very upsetting I had to leave for this ugly customer service.

i went to the mall wanting to go to barnes and noble but being new to the area, i didn't realize there isn't a barnes and noble here. so, my boyfriend and i went to this store to buy an album instead of waste the trip to the mall and at checkout, we declined to share our email and the check out person asked if she could get our number for a loyalty system. thinking it was just a simple thing of using your phone number to accrue points, we obliged and then were told we would be given a card that was initially free but would change into an $11 per month charge after the first month, with all kinds of "benefits." not wanting to be stuck there any longer after sitting through this process, we left with the plan to just cancel the card on the drive home. upon calling the customer service line, we learned it's actually a lie that you can cancel anytime. you must wait 1-3 days before cancelling. the agent hung up on us after explaining that. beyond that stupid and frustrating experience, the stock is overpriced and the store is messy. it honestly looks like leftover garbage that doesn't sell at hot topic and barnes and noble gets sent here. will not be returning.

They sign you up for a charged mwmbership wifhout twlling you. They mask it by asking for your email and pretendinf its a rewards offer. And when you pay with a card thry tie the monthly membership to your card and DONT tell you

Was forced to sign up for a subscription I didn't want. When I asked if there would be any charges on my card they said no. Lies!!! They have some good merchandise but not worth the hassle of checking out. They ask Every. Single. Time. Purposely avoiding this store because of this. I called and cancelled 5 times and I'm still getting charged each month. Ridiculously annoying service.
