great experience here! bahren was one of the most friendly hotel staff members i’ve come across in awhile. he was so welcoming and easy to chat with. he was filled with information for us during our first time in buffalo. the suite was very clean and spacious. the location of this hotel is prime, so if you’re looking to stay somewhere in close proximity to everything, this is a great choice! unfortunately, there was no breakfast when we came downstairs and we had to wait a little bit, but surely enough, it was restocked and was great. would definitely stay here again!

An unexpected delight. Does a lot of little things right that the others like Doubletree and Marriott often flub. Like real blackout curtains and not the kind you have to clip together with a hanger. Eco-friendly lotion containers. Soft comfortable bedsheets compared to the often overstretched stuff which feels like half cloth and half tin foil. My only complaint is the thin walls and lack of soundproofing, which is a problem in 99% of all hotels anyway.

The room booked was a suite for 3 guests. On arrival the staff at front desk was not helpful. When asked about parking, the staff stated that they did not know and they are very busy because of a wedding, then continued on to inappropriately complain that guests check out late. When asked again , where should we park , the staff suggested a parking lot that was a 10 min walk away or across the street but didn’t know if there was going to be a parking spot for us as they are “ very busy”. A bit strange for a hotel to not know where guests can park. Once we got to the room there was 1 washcloth and 2 hand towels…only. The fridge didn’t work ( which we needed for insulin) and the bedroom blinds were broken. For almost $400 for the night we were beyond disappointed. We called front desk and were brought 8 hand towels and 3 regular towels, ( so 1 towel for each person??) the fridge was fixed but not the blinds as the repair person doesn’t work on the weekends. All of this and ripped up flooring ...we just won't be staying at this hotel again.

So we have stayed here maybe 10 times while visiting Buffalo. This is a $200-$300 a night or 50k points a night hotel. And, this is Buffalo, and not NYC. We have stayed here so much due to location and breakfast being good. However, last time. Staff wise there is always 1 rude person at the front desk. This time for check in she was on her phone while my husband waited for our 50k point room to be checked in. My husband is espire elite mind you for ihg, which is top tier (stays over 100 nights a year for work). There is no high end feel at this hotel for the price you pay. So main complaint this time is the shower was absolutely horrible. Most water came out bottom spout, so we had no water pressure. Brought it up at check out, and maintenance blew off the complaint. We’ll stay elsewhere downtown next time. Staff here and an issue with shower not being addressed is absolutely ridiculous. For the price there should be people wanting to help you whenever you walk through the lobby, not one person on the phone and a maintenance person telling you if you stay here you aren’t going to get soap off your body.

I really don't know. We didn't go out at night.
Yes
We used the parking garage on Pearl street ($15), which is only a couple short blocks away. We walked back, but there is an option of a shuttle.
When I stayed there I used the on street parking thats free on nights and weekends. There was also a large pay lot across the street that I think was only a few dollars.
At least $100, call manager for exact amount
You can park on the street or in any of the paid parking lots close to the hotel. I remember paying around $6 to park in the lot across the street. For that lot, you pay per entry, so I don't recommend it if you have to come and go frequently. The hotel recommends a specific lot, and there is a shuttle service to and from that lot and the hotel, but I don't remember the cost for that one.
