I have lived in Jefferson county my whole life and olycap is a great resource if they can't help you they can usually point you in the right direction

They are the best thing that has ever happened. They help you in every way they can. We love everyone there.

Referral yes. -- help no. Excuses. They give u the runaround - then tell you they are only focusing on the homeless. There is no housing for homeless in this town. So look what are they doing with allocated funds that are supposed to keep people from becoming homeless?? The person in charge, Kathleen Morgan, won't call me back.

We can help with rent in Jefferson County as we are the lead agency there. Go to our website and enter housing assistance request. In Clallam County, Serenity House is the lead agency providing rent assistance, go to their website to request assistance. We can help you with utilities or job placement in either county, again, see our website for assistance. Lots of jobs right now, keep a positive outlook!
If you are considered "low income" or are a senior, on social security or social security disability, receive SNAP (aka food stamps) are facing an eviction or are facing a utility shut off tou can get assistance typically up to $350 in a year. If you are a veteran there are other services they can assist you with. Also the u.s. another great organization called Saint Vincent de Paul (which olycap typically defers people to anyways) 360-379-1325 that you call at the beginning of the week the earlier the better. Leave a message and give them about 3 days to respond. They can help with this like food, bills, minor car repairs (typically $150-300 max) etc. They can only donate to you 2x a year. With olycap too you can sign up for a program called Liheap which helps pay a portion of your heating/electric bill once a year. They help with Wood, Propane, and Electric. Kerry who is the receptionist at olycap should have all that information when you call or go in. I hope this helps.
