This place SHOULD be great - it’s been a mainstay for the neighborhood for years and was just renovated. The problem is, the staff/management don’t seem to care about making it a quality store. Always long lines with few registers open, self check out registers broken down with a line that runs the length of the store, surly employees, the organic produce is typically rotting and/or expired. Several items from my last shop were just expiring or way past expired (one soup I picked up expired in June 2021) but I realized too late. They won’t keep shopping baskets in the store because they all get stolen, I’m told - but there’s a security guard at the door who just socializes all day and lets them walk out of the store. None of this would be accepted in the Canton store, but for whatever reason Safeway neglects this store……I’ll shop elsewhere from now on.

This store has gotten worse and worse in the years I’ve lived in this neighborhood. Guaranteed at least 2 self check out stations will be closed. All lines will be at least half way down each aisle. Employees including managers are genuinely annoyed that customers are in the store and cannot be troubled to help anyone at least not without attitude like you did something to them personally by needing groceries. Also, don’t be surprised if you see a bunch of random foods opened and half way eaten while you are perusing the aisles as this is common.

The market is Very clean with everything you need right there on hand, the self checkout sold me right away, no more just waiting in line for the person in front of you to get there payment ready holding up the line, you just scan your product , put it in your bag, choose the way your going to pay for your groceries and then after you've finished paying for it just go... Life I Wish everything in life could be that simple and easy 😁

It's a good Safeway with good grocery delivery as well; I get all of my groceries here. In-person, it's clean, efficient, and organized. For delivery, they usually have most items in-stock and have always been on-time. Overall, the food is fresh and good, the variety of stock covers most household needs, and the staff are polite and helpful.
