Appliance shopping, worst experience ever at a Lowe’s store. Staff unwilling to answer basic questions, condescending and simply rude. Staff with not my job attitudes should maybe helped to look elsewhere for employment outside of retail. Oh and definitely not allowed to train others. Now credit to the manager who as we left without purchasing asked how our shopping at Lowes went…Well not good, explained and she headed straight to the appliance area to discuss the challenges we incurred. We did go the local HD and bought our new refrigerator, staff there answered all questions with a smile.

Home Depot is a much closer drive for us but did not have the washer and dryer set we wanted. The Lowe's website indicated they had 3 in-store available for the same-day pick-up. So we made the 45-minute drive to Lowe's; Mary quickly assisted us and said that we would have to order them as they would come from the Lowe's Wearhouse in Oregon. I explained the site said they had 3 available and if not, we were not looking to place an order as we have one in with Sears from 3 months ago and have yet to arrive. She looked again for us and even went to physically verify the location had the items we wanted to buy, which we were very appreciative of. When she returned, she asked if I had a Lowes card, which I do not. However, I was ready and able to pay cash. At that point, I asked her if Lowe's price matched (which I verified before the drive, and they do) I even had a printout from Home Depot, but that was not sufficient. She said it had to be within the same zip code; otherwise, the price match was not valid. I thought that odd because the research I did, did not indicate that at all. So I searched on my phone and quickly found the same information to show her. At that point, Mary told me I had to search by part number because even though they look the same and the specs are the same, the part number is what mattered. So I searched by part number on the Home Depot site, and the same amount came up. By this time, Mary was looking for the same information on her computer, got the same amount to come, and then told me that wasn't the correct price; the price shown on the Home Depot site was IF I used a Home Depot credit card. She finally said she was going to have to speak to her manager. The manager came over quickly, glanced at Mary's screen, and approved the price match. Since we were finally moving forward, I ask Mary if we were, in fact, purchasing an electric dryer, to be sure, and she well! you'd have to convert it we don't sell gas dryers! I explained that was a good thing as we needed an electric dryer. Once she was done we moved to an actual checkout line, once there I asked the new customer representative if Lowe's honored a military/veteran discount. As the cashier was running my phone number to verify, Mary from behind me barks out that it doesn't work on appliances and the cashier shouldn't bother. I am not sure what we did to have such poor customer service but I did notice the employees at this location speak to the customers in a way that we all "should" know the ins and outs of Lowe's. I would have much rather given my money to Home Depot if they had what I needed to take home with me on this day. So guard your "Loins" when you visit this location!!!

Had a few service workers ask if I needed anything, so at least 2 stars, but as I checked out with about $ 125.00 I found out I have to be registered to use my military discount...I really don't like giving out information, due nothing but a bunch of ads in my mailbox. So due to my info is worth more than my Military Service, to them I will just stick to Home Depot.

I like the location of this store. Plenty of parking and easy to get to from the freeway. Not crowded much nice wide check out lines. Shop the sales and you can find some great deals. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store

Very clean and spaced. Safety barriers in place and each check-out is cleaned after every customer
