Very much a traditional hometown diner. Nice decor and many tables. Very good WiFi. Coffee $1.99. Staff cordial. Bathrooms small but seem to be kept up. New menus and prices.

Stopped in for breakfast. When we walked in the door a waitress practically ran up to us and brutally told us it was a half hour wait. No hello, we apologize, just said there was a wait and walked away. She could have been more cordial. We left and had breakfast somewhere else.

The restaurant was 1/3 full when we walked in, but all of the available tables were still dirty. 10 minutes went by before someone said hello, or offered coffee. When they finally did show up with menus, one of them was covered in food. It was completely disgusting and no attempt was made to remove the obvious glob of jelly and syrup. The waitress told us they were out of silverware, Yes, a restaurant ran out of clean silverware, when they were only 1/3 full. She could have said nothing, and just brought it to us with our food but she was clearly stressed out about it. Our meal came out impressively fast, but my wife ordered a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs and it came out with eggs over easy. My order included a side of 2 pancakes which never came. I finally walked up to the counter to ask for them and the waitress looked over the bill she gave me and said "I wrote it down, they must have forgotten". Actually, YOU forgot to make sure you brought out everything I ordered. They were clearly offended that I would have the nerve to complain because they never offered a refill on my coffee and they never cleared our plates. 100% will never come here again, nor recommend this place to anyone.

Visited today noon - 1:30 pm Our server (energetic , short red hair) was exceptional!! Excellent Rueben sandwich platter! The sandwich had perfectly toasted Rye with lean, tasty (& tender) corned beef, the right amount of sauerkraut & dressing. The fries were fresh, crisp, and done inside; I added vinegar & they remained crisp! Cabbage salad is excellent!
