This place feels like a typical bar and grill... Familiar menu, decor and music. Unfortunately my food was also very ordinary. At a minimum, a bar and grill should serve a good burger. My burger was over cooked, the patty was much smaller than the bun and I'm assuming it was not fresh beef. It looked and tasted like it was preformed and previously frozen. I opted for tots instead of fries. The tots were extra crispy and had a fishy taste... Probably cooked them in the same oil they use for fish and chips. The food was plated well and the service was good.

They have delicious food. Amazing blue cheese dressing made in house. Went tonight and never did get the salad, even after reminding waitress a second time. While eating what they did remember to bring to me someone came by and grabbed my plate mid bite and whisked it off to the kitchen. Tired of the pandemic excuse for bad service.

Living two blocks away is a blessing and a curse, hahahaha! The staff is always personable and chatty! Brews always cold, tap or bottle! Atmosphere has changed since it was Moon Dogs Too but familiar faces are still welcoming! My is family here from Louisiana and I told them I would bring them to a good spot today and here we are. They now have another story to tell!

Ahhh, so you are in Port Orchard, the lovely town I grew up in, and you are looking for some food? Well, good luck because Port Orchard really doesn’t have that many options… but what I will always recommend you is the Brickhouse. The Brickhouse is that place that isn’t amazing, but isn’t really bad either. A long time ago it use to be called MoonDogsToo but then they closed and Brickhouse took over. The employees are nice, and they do serve you if you are indoors or outside. A common trend I notice every time is that the service is just ok. Many times I have seen them slightly overwhelmed and say that things are taking a little bit. So for this reason they prefer you to come to the counter and place orders/pick up your own drinks/ etc. This isn’t exactly bad though because the Brickhouse has this dive-bar-esk to it. And truthfully it’s not a place I would expect great service? (I’m saying that in a way I don’t mean to offend). The food is always reliable. The menu use to be way bigger and some of my favorite items like the Chicken Pot Pie has been removed for awhile. Prime rib Dip is always a good choice. The sides and apps are where the Brickhouse shines. I didn’t get any on my recent visit but the Twisted fries are SOOO good. Be sure to get some and checkout the live music… Perfect Segway….the Brickhouse has live music. That is one of the best reasons to come to this place. If it’s a family outing, late night with the boys, or date with the wifey it helps bring some fun to your life. My conclusion is the Brickhouse is a good choice! I’m giving three stars because it’s a Hometown Restaurant and I know it has more potential. Places like this need to be the best versions of their self to help attract more people. Like I said it’s reliable. - Colter
