Horible customer service, i came here because it said my package was ready for pick up , when I came there I spent a good 30 minutes waiting only for them to come out and say they don’t have it and it had been shipped out to my house, don’t tell people it’s ready for pickup at the office if you’re going to ship it to their house

I’ve never had a problem with the Auburn post office my mail is always on time and sometimes early

Recently was supposed to receive a package. Got a notice that it was unable to be delivered with a reason of "no access." This was left in my mail box. I suspect the package might have been too big to fit inside the box. I do live down a private road, but they haven't had issues bringing my mail down to my door before. There is no gate preventing access, and while I have dogs, they would have been inside at the time and the fenced yard they have access to is a backyard so there was no issues with them posing a threat. The redelivery article number just doesn't work. When I check the tracking number, it says redelivery available. But when I try to initiate the redelivery I get told it's not eligible for redelivery when I put the same tracking number in. I work nights and the post office is open during my sleeping hours. I have to go out of my way, stay up hours later than I normally would to go pick up this package. Best part of the situation, I can't get my own mail delivered but they have no problem delivering my neighbors junk mail into my box almost daily because my neighbors don't have a mail box.

They do everything to avoid helping you, blame you for their mistakes, and then try to charge you for what they did. Name is listed, returned my package even though we've been getting this same package for a year at this same address, and refused to correct it without trying to make me pay for their mistake. That is scammy and scummy. Called the main USPS customer service for an investigation.

No. The PO Box Lobby is open from 6am to 6:30pm, Monday-Saturdays. It's open from 6am to 11:30am on Sundays.
Say you had Box 9999. It would look like: P0 Box 9999 Auburn, WA 98071 If you want to get packages coming from a place that won't ship to PO Boxes, use: 11 3rd St NW #9999 Auburn, WA 98002 Just remember to use your real PO Box number and not 9999. :) And we can accept FedEx, UPS, Amazon, DHL, or any other courier packages free of charge for you securely.
Yes! Come on in!
It's 98071.
Hi Dong Chon! If you come into our lobby, without standing in line, you'll find bright yellow hold cards in the center counter for putting your mail on hold. Complete the form, and drop it into any mailbox. You can also do it online at usps.com!
I need to replace the lock on my mailbox. What do I do?
Accordingly to their App, a Large Flat Rate Box costs $19.95 to mail.
Go to your local post office and inform them of the situation. They should use a "3-way" card (PS Form 3546) to Change Temporary End Date. They can use a special USPS internal program called COARS to look up your forwarding information. This will correctly change the dates.
We did special parcel deliveries on Christmas day, and we'll be doing the same on the first of the year. Regular mail delivery on January 1st and Lobby services will, however, be suspended until the next day.
Hey, there this time of year is hard on all logistic companies. I would call the post office, or better yet, go in to the Auburn branch and explain your situation and have them check their background and check their computer systems. Unfortunately it may have been stolen. The only way to know for sure would be to go to the Post Office and see if it was absolutely one hundred percent guaranteed delivered to the correct address. Best of luck! Happy holidays.
Hello Tonilinn! You'll need to contact a locksmith. Our post office neither changes locks, nor keeps copies of them. We do have contact information for key change specialists that charge far less than a normal locksmith. For additional information, contact us at 98002AuburnWA-MainOffice (at) usps.gov.
Hi Wayne! There are two questions I usually ask. First, did you get any mail the prior two days? Second, are you receiving the grocery ads every week? If the answer to either is no, you need to contact us directly with your address so we can investigate the situation. If the answer is yes, we're starting to see some of the heaviest shipping we've ever seen, and it will just get more busy up to December 22nd or 23rd. Because of that, and staffing shortages, some carriers are carrying more than one route, and are running very late compared to what you're used to. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Yes
The boxes are free, rates vary depending on size.
We would have to research the reasons. The single best way for us to do that is to contact us through via our USPS.gov Contact page (https://emailus.usps.com/emailUs/iq/usps/request.do?forward=emailUs).

You can either get a Change of Address form at the counter inside the post office, or you can change it online at usps.com!
Let's research this and see what's going on. Either contact us through via our USPS.gov Contact page (https://emailus.usps.com/emailUs/iq/usps/request.do?forward=emailUs), or email us directly at 98002AuburnWAMainOffice (at) usps.gov.
No, we don't, however, if you go to travel.state.gov you'll find the places closest to you!
16, no... to pickup mails either at the post office or mail carrier youll need ID and for amazon package, check the deliver date because it will be deliver that date since Amazon want package to be deliver if no respond.
You can, but I suggest NOT putting under the destination address. If you're planning a commercial bulk mailing, the USPS Business Services people can help you with mailpiece design.
The collection times are listed on the boxes.
I believe the last official pickup time from the inside and outside boxes is 3:30.
Closed
Not sure, but I think it closes early
There are some listed here: https://pe.usps.com/IMM_Archive/HTML/IMM_Archive_20060108/imm/immicl/immicllm_022.html . Also, because of the current status of the Mexican postal system, we recommend using GXG service at this time.
You can go into any post office and fill in the large yellow hold form, or go online at the usps.com site. However, we will not hold your mail indefinitely if it's the case of a lost key. You'll need to get that key replaced.
Hi Edwin. We try to get all mail delivered by 6:00 pm, however, it depends on mail volume, staffing, and a lot of other issues. All you can do is be patient. Someone has to be at the beginning of a route, and someone has to be at the end of a route. Vehicles break down. People call in sick and we have to split their route amongst other people and this pushes delivery on their own routes later. Mail can be unusually heavy. And sometimes things just go horribly wrong.
It's $53 every 6 months. Expect the price to go up early next year. You can rent it for 3 months at a time on usps.com.
As of today's writing, a PO Box is $30 for 3 months, or $53 for 6 months. You can rent one online at usps.com.
Hi Sharon. Since there are multiple routes and carriers throughout Pacific, your hyperbole is best addressed by coming down to the station, should you actually want an answer.
Hi Sean! If you did a forward to General Delivery less than a year ago, you'll need to come in and have us fill out a "3-way" form for you. If its been over a year, or you never filled out a forward to General Delivery in the first place, then it's exactly as Mary Johnson said. Do Change of Address online for a $1, or come in and get the paper form at the post office. If you're being asked to pay more than $2 online, you're at a bogus, scam ripoff site. Go to USPS.com and start from there.
Yes, if they already tried to deliver it to your address
Usually will for a day or two but call them and ask.
7-830am you can pick it up at the will-call window by the PO Boxes before they open
Hello Juana! We ship to countries around the world! You just need to complete a Customs form when you get your package ready. We have the forms in our office, and we'll be glad to assist you with them.
This time of year the political mail creates a delay in delivery due to the high volume. The mail delivery will resume to its normal schedule following the holiday season. Our peak season begins in mid October to mid January.
Hello ModernTerms16. Our 800 number is available 24/7, 365 days a year. You'll find it listed here. If it's time-sensitive, in the future, I'd advise actually coming into our post office.
It's zip + 4 is: 98002-6800
Call your post office and tell the delivery supervisor that you have not received your mail. They will help you
It will go out the next day
The best thing to do is first come into the post office, so we can determine which box is yours. We can give you that information, and from there, you'll need to contact a locksmith to replace the lock. You'll generally get 2-3 keys for the new lock. The post office doesn't keep spare keys for locks.
Did you have sign signature confirmation where did you send it you need to call to the Auburn Post Office ask for a delivery supervisor have them find out what's going on
Call 1-800-ask- usps. Give them the tracking. And either they will handle it or transfer you to Auburn main PO supervisor.
Come in to the post office at 11 3rd St NW. If we have it in the office, we'll give it to you. If we don't, we'll get your address. The carrier will then verify which box number is yours, and get the key from you, or direct you to the appropriate location with the key. We may have to direct you to a locksmith, and want to make sure you have the right box number before they do any removal and replacement of the locks. Different communities have different ways to handle the keys, so we want to make sure we do this right for you.
Hi Kathy! If you're leasing, the first thing to do is to talk to your property manager and see if they're responsible for arranging for your mailbox key, which they should be in this case. If not, and you don't know which mailbox is yours, you'll need to come into the post office so we can identify which one it is for you. At that point, once you know which one it is, you'll need to contact a locksmith to change out the lock for you. We know some specialists that can do it for relatively inexpensively. We no longer have postal resources to do it locally, so we can only direct you elsewhere for lock changes, which is why I'd suggest starting with your property manager first
While I don't have the note in front of me, I'd have to presume that there's something at our Post Office for you to pick up.
You need to contact the post office with such inquiries. Find their contact info on their Google map entry.
They rent boxes on a six-month or annual basis.
