Carpet was torn in our room where it switches from carpet to tile and it had nails or something sharp sticking out from it. Had to lay something over to avoid stepping on it. Pool is amazing. Didn’t seem bad just really really needing some renovations and updating but upon leaving hears other guest complaining of bugs (yikes!)

Place is falling apart, there's zip ties holding the stair railings, cement steps are missing chunks and some steps are wooden. They have stairs blocked off because they are missing steps and falling apart making it a challenge getting to rooms. Curtains have the lining peeling away. Part of the roof was torn off, they claim a storm came through that morning but there wasn't any damage to the surrounding area. I don't recommend staying here unless you are truly desperate like we were.

I had made my reservation online to stop here during a long trip. My initial reaction when I saw the place was thinking, oh Lord, This is not going to be good. And I was thinking I was going to have to find another hotel right off the bat but I went ahead and went in and checked into my room figuring I would make a decision after looking at the room. When I pulled to the back of the hotel where my room was and I saw the curtains with the backing all shredded off of it and the windows were filthy I was even more reluctant. However, all that being said the room itself seemed like it had been recently updated. It was clean, the bathroom fixtures were almost new it looked like a fairly new tub and tiles in there. And it was clean and comfortable enough that I stayed. The maid forgot to leave rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom so I had to go to the front office to get it and the phone in the room was non-functioning. I couldn't even call the desk. But it was clean like I said and a place to rest my head for the night. I would give it an additional half star if that were possible. I would give the room itself a 4, 4.5, But the shredded curtains and the really dirty windows and non-functioning phone caused me to drop it.

When coming in my TV had already been broke on the left side like somebody had stabbed or punched it , the bathroom was not properly clean as there was other people's hair and there was stains on bedding and lamp shades. They charged me an extra $80 for a TV that was already broken when purchased the room besides I booked a king double bed and they gave me full double bed. Horrible business
