We absolutely love this place, but are very disappointed with the dirt road leading to campground. It will destroy my camper if I drive it a few more times, so we're reluctant to return.

Super quiet during the week, but the reasons for 3 stars are: The vault toilets are disgusting. If you come here, either have an rv/camper with facilities or bring a portable toilet. The dirt road coming up here is rough and full of potholes and has only gotten worse over the years. Cell phone service is very spotty on Verizon and AT&T but works better with a booster. There's no lakes or streams anywhere close so there's not much to do. The price is $23 a night and there is running water onsite as well as firewood for sale from the camp host. Happy camping !

When we arrived, they had given away our campsite that we had reserved for 3 nights. The drive up is a long dirt road with lots of potholes, so be advised. Definitely couldn’t make it up without an SUV. No cell service.

Not expensive, nothing fancy, but great open spaces, very clean bathrooms, friendly camp manager. Can be a little noisy since there is an off-road vehicle parking spot close by, but that's why we camped here - very close to a ton of off-road trails. Good shade, bathrooms are vault toilets, can buy firewood there - does have water spouts to fill up but no RV hook-ups or electricity. Lots are good size and you can have multiple tents/RV in one site - up to 8 people. Our second time here - will come back! Update - came back for third time this weekend - still great! Wood is a little expensive but otherwise it was quiet, clean and relaxing.
