If you are required to take a drive exam, you must present proof of liability insurance on your vehicle. Acceptable identification is required. See list of acceptable identification here: https://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/drivers/drivers_license/drlicid.html
Something with your signature on it. Credit card, social security, etc. it has to have a signature
$20 for an ID.
He will need 1.) proof of insurance on the vehicle 2.)two forms of Proof of address up to and including a piece of mail with his name and address and a Illnois state ID. 3.)He will need to take the driving exam and best to make sure no check engine lights are on or they will not enter the vehicle
You need something from your doctor that says your handicapped and need the placard, and I assume proof of identification
Perhaps check the expiration date on your actual license. The letter could be a mistake.
I’d like to know as well...
I need to change my license from Wisconsin to Illinois. Anyone knows what do I need? If it's open?
