Berkshire Hathaway Gala. Very nice time and they did a lot of work. Check out the ice sculptures.... Large room perfect for the crowd that was there for the evening.

Went to see August Burns Red. The line to get in moved quite slow, did not seem efficient. Security was easy to get through. The actual convention space in the concert area is HUGE. Lots of room to be off by yourself if you want to even with 3000+ people attending this event. The bathroom surprisingly lines moved quickly as their were plenty of stalls in each one. My biggest complaint is the bar lines. The line to get into the 21+ area was quick as they checked IDs and gave you a wrist band. But there were no dedicated marked lines for the roughly 4-5 bar stations. One man was old and moved very slowly and appeared overwhelmed. My opinion is if you are serving mixed drinks and beer at the same bar station, you need AT LEAST two people working each bar space. This would have dramatically reduced wait times. Some wait times were 45 minutes for a canned beer, ridiculous! The stage was nice and excellent lighting and bass. Overall nice venue but needs work on the alcohol sales.

The discounted and free passes that I have seen were for convention attendees. You would think the Marriott would also provide some form of parking perk for their hotel guests. The Steinman Garage on 29 W Vine refuses Marriott passes and are very, very rude about it. Avoid this trashy, customer unfriendly parking garage at all costs. The Parking Authority garages are extremely better than the Steinman (Lancaster News paper) dump!!! Thanks for the reply. There has been confusion over the passes. I have absolutely no complaint whatsoever with Marriott. Marriott is one my two favorite national chains and I have always been treated exceptionally well at your conventions. The attitude and cleanliness at the Steinman garage is a huge problem.
You can park in any of the many parking garages nearby. I'm not exactly sure of how much it would cost though.

Since I'm not sure what you are talking about, I would suggest calling them and ask them for more info about your event.
Within 1000ft there is parking also there is street parking. Lancaster Marriott is adjacent to the convention center for accomdations and parking is offered for guests as well.
I believe all the above, when I was there I parked on the street @ a meter because 1 was available & because I am picky of my spots because I have a truck & most spots anymore are made for little cars & people don't respect your property in parking garages and slam their doors into your vehicle + that being said I am not a fan of someone else being behind the wheel of my car.
