If this spot were well kept, it would be a jewel. Unfortunately, the Forest Service devotes their resources to ravaging places like the Stock Creek watershed, which they plan to do soon.

Like a prior reviewer mentioned...the lake trail was nice but the footbridges need some repair especially along the boardwalk. Some boards were missing/loose. Gorgeous area and views.

Camp Host very friendly and the camp sites are clean the only thing that would have made the experience better is to have water

Always something with this place. Drove two hours only to find the bath houses were locked and closed. With all the fees you'd think they could do something decent and keep the place running

Yes it is dog friendly. I don't know the leash laws but I wouldn't let mine run loose. They are wild animals in the area such as black bears, coyote, foxes, raccoons, possum, snakes and such.
Yes, the campground is very well maintained and the bath houses are exceptionally clean. It is quiet and peaceful, too.
