Needed a battery for my Jeep. Checked Walmart App and they had one in-store for $106. Followed the app to battery using the supplied info. Took to checkout and attendant scanned it for me, $149. I told her no, the correct price should be $106. She checked her info and it showed $149. Told her I looked it up before coming. She got a floor manager to come over and she checked and got the same info telling me I had picked a battery from another company that could be delivered there. I smiled and took out my phone with the app already up and showed her it was the same battery, in-store, isle located for $106. She said she couldn't change the price. I had picked up almost $300 of other items. I said well I'll leave all this and just pay for the battery by the app and have someone bring another one to me and be on my way. She went and got the store manager. Who also looked at all the information about the battery then looked at the battery on my phone. She said yes it's the same battery, changed the price, and went back to the office or wherever. No sorry for your inconvenience of taking almost 45 minutes to checkout, have a nice day, not even I smile. I was feeling like I ruined her day by her having to come correct an issue with one of their products. I put back everything I didn't absolutely need and spent $100 less than I would have. I got that stuff at a different store the next day.

Not the best Walmart. It's older and not kept up. It always looks like a tornado went through the clothing department. Very small home and auto section. I also have smaller selection of food products in there produce always looks like it should be on special.

After my pickup order was delayed 30 minutes, then sat outside and waited over 45 more minutes to get my items. They marked my items as already being picked up even though I hadn’t gotten them and strolled out 15 minutes after they were “marked already picked up” with my items. I’m guessing this was too make it look as if I wasn’t waiting as long as I was. I literally dread that this is the only Walmart in town and there Is no target. This place makes my anxiety so mad.

The shelves are an absolute wreck & it’s impossible to ever find anything. I went into the Oak Ridge store to buy copy paper & it was all still packed in boxes & placed on the shelves, not unpacked by individual reams of paper. I couldn’t figure out the cost but decided to buy a box as it appeared I could purchase it that way. I hauled the big, heavy box of 5 reams from the back of the store to self checkout. It wouldn’t scan &, after attempting twice, shut down the register & said I must wait on an attendant. That’s a problem when there isn’t one to be seen ANYWHERE. I moved to another register thinking I’d scanned the wrong barcode, scan a different one, that doesn’t work, try yet another one, same results, shut down THAT register. It’s 5:30 on a Friday, there’s no one working the checkout aisle and I must leave the area & return to the very back of the store to figure out how to get copy paper to my home after a 60 hour work week. The office supply aisles were an absolute mess. I needed other items, like a 1.5” three-ring binder but those were either unreachable or in 3 different locations. Honestly, get it together. Every business is shorthanded, no one is worse off than healthcare, but imagine if I left my patients in the same condition your store is in.
