Very friendly staff, clean. I initially went thru the drive thru & was invited in by the staff. No frills & has charm. My companion enjoyed their hot dog. I had perogies with the cheddar cheese & sour cream suggested by the staff. So happy I went here.

Just wanted to thank Davey’s today for not only serving my parents a great lunch but for also their honesty and excellent customer service. My mom left her pocketbook their and luckily it was found by another honest customer who turned it in. When calling my mom’s cell (which was in her purse) the owners son answered and let me know they had her purse. He also refused to accept a tip from my mom when she returned to pick it up. They frequent their often but these are the moments when you realize local small businesses truly enjoy serving the community!!! Yummy hotdog for lunch and a very lucky lady! Thanks!

The hot dogs here are really nothing special. The hot dogs themselves are tiny (usually more bun than meat). Flavor is good but, again, it's all from standard sauces, nothing out of the ordinary. I'd recommend the chili and cheese combination. BUT the staff that work here are always really friendly and personable. I keep coming back just for the old-fashioned drive thru experience; there's something about it that makes my journey more cozy whenever I visit Mount Arlington.

So pulling into this place I was kind of hit with a "what are we thinking with this one" feeling. It's an older looking A frame type all wooden building that looks like it would be set at the bottom of a Swiss Alp serving hot chocolate and crudités plates. Turns out Davy's has some serious dogs, and according to my kids, some pretty tasty burgers as well. We came here after the last day of school last year as a bit of a celebration for my kids, and a way for us to try out a new place. Since having gone, I've also heard their chicken cheesesteak and milkshakes are excellent so I'll need to go back at some point. We ordered some plain dogs, burgers, A chili dog with onion and mustard, and an Italian dog. The plain dogs were solid. My kids enjoyed the flavor and the cost was right in line with anywhere else in the general area. The burgers were also solid. They're served on Jersey Kaiser rolls (which I love) and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The Chili dog was very tasty. A solid chili with good consistency and flavor. Went really well on this dog. The Italian dog was also excellent. Two large dogs with fried potatoes, onions, and peppers on a huge roll. Wasn't even remotely close to finishing it...worth the cost. We'll be back here for sure at some point. A worthy stop with a quick on/off from Route 80. Davy's Dogs - Didn't Suck!
