Clean and organized store. Employees and managers are courteous, friendly and always available to help if you need help. Never a long wait to get checked out because they always have ample amount of cashiers at their registers. If lines do get backed at the registers, other registers will get opened by other employees or even by a manager! Prices are always in line or even lots cheaper on sale items than the local big box grocery store. Someone will carry your groceries out if you need help and just ask for help. Why would anyone endure the madness and long waits to get checked out at the local big box grocery store when they can come here and have such a better grocery shopping experience where your business is truly appreciated??

I went shopping at food lion about 3 weeks ago. My experience was beyond my imagination! I have a healthy food card through my health insurance plan. Some of the products I had tried to purchase were not approved. I didn't have enough for my order to pay cash. The cashier MS Grace and also the lead asst manager stepped in to pay the balance of my order! I commended them for their assistance in going above and beyond their call of duty that day. You don't find many public service workers who would step in in such a way to keep their customers happy! Along with that the food was delicious, fresh meat and canned vegetables that taste just like they came fresh out if the garden, canned by grandma!
