Usually, we are allowed to check 30 minutes before the flight at the latest. Yesterday, they changed to to 42 minutes without notifying anyone. We got there one minute after the new deadline and they refused to check us in. Now we have to go on a flight tomorrow. We have had to change every plan, and there's no chance of fixing this. Thanks American Airlines.

I've always been very pleased with this airport! The facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and they usually run on time. As it's a regional airport, if there is severe weather you might face delays and cancellations since there aren't many flights out per day, but I haven't experienced anything that severely affected my travel plans in a long time. I'd recommend looking at options out of ROA!

I don't think so. It's not that big of a parking lot. After you park, open Google maps then take a screen shot. Blue dot is your parking spot. There are other ways to save your location, but that's an easy one. Also, If you open Google maps and tap on the blue dot (your location) one of the options is "save my parking." hope that helps. Safe travels!
No doctors note needed. Just tell the TSA officers you have internal metal and they'll send you thru the appropriate scanner.
It depends on which runway you land. The airport does sit in a valley surrounded by mountains. One instrument approach is "offset".
