Nice park and I like they huge playground. It's very nice and the kids never get bored. We used to take my little cousin there all the time. Also across the park on 7th and T street you can find a lady right at the corner selling the best Mangoneadas that I have ever bought in the Sacramento area.

I liked it. I feel like it's trying really hard in a gentrified neighborhood. The pond. The park. The playground. Really awesome in many ways but the homeless people doing bong rips fishing is really disturbing.

My 2 year old son loved this playground!! Playground seemed safe but the area is not the best.. full of homeless people. At the other side of the park, a man talked to me and he had a knife on his belt.. I was very scared..

Nor me. I dont believe so. There are some cagelike structures on the shore that i think people are mistaking for fish cages. They are an art installation. But there's no more jumps at twilight or dawn than usual, so if there are new trout they're of a breed that doesnt need to eat.

Yes. All around the park are different workout stations. Yes there is a pull up bar.
There are grills and tables in a designated area. There's also an area closer to playground with tables and it is covered. This area with canopy you have to reserve. You can try to get to those tables but if someone pops up with a reservation then you gotta move. This park is huge with plenty shade, horseshoe area, fishing, public pool, basketball, tennis courts, amphitheater, and exercise stations. Its totally worth a trip for picnic or BBQ.
