I cannot believe the incompetence and disconnect that plagues some doctors, and it this place is not exempt from that. Expect a long night and make sure you ask any and all questions that you need to ask. The doctor's don't have the time or the courtesy to check all the bases for you. Be your own advocate and bring someone with you to help. The nurses and staff are wonderful and seem to have the time to be considerate. 2 out of 3 doctor's we've seen here, can not be tasked to care. With our most recent visit, Dr. Dense did not have the time to read our intake notes, or the courtesy to ask an important question that at the end made her say "Then we need to go back to the drawing board". When we arrived, we told the front desk that we were pregnant. We told the nurse we were pregnant. It seemed that even the traveling nurse knew we were pregnant without even talking with us. It wasn't until after Dr. Dense poked and prodded my partners abdomen, ordered a CT scan and heard us ask "Is a CT scan safe for our baby" that she realized we were pregnant. She talked about how it was our job to let her know that. Not her job to know the person she was treating, and not her job to find out if there are any conditions that might change the entire approach of treatment. Even one of the nurses assistants mentioned that she was shocked when the doctor made it apparent she didn't know that. Again, the nurses, assistants, and all other helpers are wonderful. Just be aware that the doctor's seem to be there to collect information to find treatments, and may be too tired or overworked to provide compassion along with their practice.

We went to Good Sam Emergency clinic in parkland with a pretty scary situation for my husband. The minute we arrived we felt heard and cared for. He was in a room within minutes and seen by the doctor pretty quickly. It was determined that he needed transport to the hospital to get more diagnostics and appropriate treatment done. The doctor communicated with the hospital specialist, arranged medic transportation, and kept us updated for the four hours we were there waiting for a hospital bed to open up for him. By the time my husband arrived at the hospital, he had his room, was rushed in for diagnostics, and was treated within hours. We feel that had not went to the urgent clinic first we may have waited for hours in the ED waiting room to get treated. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Good Sam Emergency Clinic for not only communicating well and taking great care of my husband but the doctor and nurses were also tending to me to make sure I was informed and not so scared.

Cheers to you parkland emergency multi care team!! You are awesome. Every single staff member treated me with respect and real care. The nurse got a warm blanket for me because the room was cold when I arrived. It seems obvious but that act of patient care was an extra in the circumstances. By the time I left I was pain free, fixed up and set up to get me through the next 24 hours. I had no doubts that the P.A. Did everything to diagnose and treat my situation (which had me very scared). I Definitely felt cared for and listened to by the time I left. That’s the way healthcare should be done!

Guy slandered my military husband and claimed I was a seeker when I have four broken ribs and got hit by a car. Called my name out and he’s security that’s a HIPA violation. The charge nurse was extremely hostile. 0-10 do not recommend this slum.

Multicare does have financial aid programs. Emergency care to stabilize life-threatening illnesses or injury is mandated by law regardless of ability to pay.
