Be careful parking here. Cars/trucks have had there windows broken into in the parking lot. It does not matter that whether you have valuables in your car or not they break the window to go through the vehicle

Nice variety of trails within Daley Ranch. Usually not too busy here and plenty of parking. Great place for a quiet hike. Some of the trails are less travelled. To my knowledge there have not been any wild cougar sightings here.
Riddle Routes
Intended to start at the park but found this trailhead instead. A small, bumpy dirt road will get you to a parking lot for the Cougar Ridge Trail. There are no facilities here!! It’s no small hike to the nearest restrooms and water at the Ranch House, so be prepared! We had no idea how large this preserve is. We took the Cougar Ridge Trail (major elevation gain) to Boulder Loop, to get to the Ranch House. We then returned via Jack Creek Meadow, to Hidden Spring (steep and rocky), and Engelmann Oak, back to the parking lot. We heard a rattlesnake along the trail and came across two coyotes. A great way to spend the day enjoying nature, but prepare accordingly.
