We've been on the road for over 2 weeks! This is the worst hotel we have stayed in! The A/C was turned off when we arrived & didn't cool the room down until after 5am! Would've opened the window, but the window screen was broken! Woke up & was getting ready for the day, 2 construction workers tried to open the door without knocking & housekeeping opened our door! Wasn't even notified that construction was going to be going on! They were hammering & drilling on the wall where my husband was still resting! Thankful there was a chain on the door so they couldn't get it open too far! Will not be staying here again!

I called this hotel directly to book a room. They were busy, so their automated system sent me to a third party reservation service. I got doubled billed. Neither the hotel or Choice Hotels were able or willing to help get it resolved - and the 3rd party that they refered me to - their customer service on the receipt was no longer valid. The phone number that the hotel gave me for the 3rd party - siad it wasn't through them - but they knew who it was. - they would have them call me. (how does that work?) Still working on it - but now - I am going through my credit card company to dispute the charges. What a pain in the a$$ and having been a member of Choice Hotels for several years now - I will no longer use them unless I am absolutely desperate.

Positive: Good breakfast with eggs sausage and biscuits and gravy. They had an awesome salsa that had some kick! Room was large with no issues. Negative: Late February pool and hot tub was closed. Fitness room was just 3 machines, no individual workout items. Limited eating on a Sunday night and I DON¿T recommend eating at the El Cominio.

Outstanding service from check in to check out. The beds were comfortable, the lighting was more than adequate, it was very easy to plug-in electronic devices. The most outstanding part was the person at the front desk that night. Her name is Desiree. I was having a problem with connecting to the Wi-Fi and she literally came up to my room to help me. Who does that? And I love the layout of our room and how quiet it was.
