I have a few things to say about my stay with this hotel. 1. First and foremost, the rooms are lovely. Very clean and spacious. Wonderful shower. Plenty of TV channels. Comfortable, soft beds. 2. Some people should not work in hospitality, and the overnight check in lady is one of those people. She seemed rude and not the least bit welcoming at all during check in. 3. I always inspect my hotel room before bringing my belongings in. Under the sheets in one of the beds, I found a bug which I automatically assumed was a bed bug, but I now think may have just been a carpet beetle. Either way, bugs don't belong in beds. I brought it in a kleenex down to the check in lady. In a very condescending tone, she said she had never seen one before. Didn't bother to apologize for the inconvenience. She asked what I wanted to do and I said I wanted another room. She grudgingly gave me another room. 4. Do not be fooled by the pictures of the outside of the building like I was. Yes, it looks great. But it is in a VERY shady part of town. The safety of this location is questionable at best. We checked in around midnight and I saw a few sketchy characters walking by the hotel. Gallup in general is not a very safe town, with the chance of being victim of a violent or property crime is 1 in 17. The hotel should take this into consideration and have a security gate around the parking lot. They certainly charge patrons enough to fund one. I would not feel safe walking in the parking lot alone at night. 5. This hotel is way too overpriced considering the unsafe location and the fact that the pool is not currently open.

The staff was fantastic!!! The rooms were nice and clean, good storage, the breakfast was great too. We were bummed about the awful shower water pressure, the pool & hot tub being empty and being able to hear the guy next door snoring.LOL!!! If stay here again.

This is a decent BW hotel, but we faced some displeasing service, so that is why it is not a 5 star rating. The lady at the front was quite unfriendly, and she worked way too slowly. She was also annoyingly meticulous, made us fill the license plate number, and this the first time we have ever done it. We came in late at night because we had a very long drive that day, and we had to wait for quite a while at the front door because the door was locked. It is unusual for the 24/7 advertised service. We also then provided our membership card, which every single hotel uses to give the rewards points, yet that lady told us she can’t find the account and said to use the website instead. She didn’t explicate how exactly. Despite the service, the hotel was okay. It is clean, the room was tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is fine, not a lot of options though. Just the staff is mediocre. We have visited places where the staff was much friendlier.

"Arlene Truly People Person Staff". Very Helpful, fast checking in. Very comfortable, relaxing rooms. Bed's are just perfect. Room's Very Quiet, can't hardly hear any noise especially next door neighbors Lol. Breakfast Staff Young Man keeping area very Clean. Well kept up with item's. Definitely will be Returning. In our listing now. Thanks again 👍
