We live 1/2 mile from our mailbox so the post office won't deliver to our door, so we installed a red locker...with lock...directly under our mailbox, with our address on it. Do you know HOW MANY TIMES the postal worker has been too lazy to get out of their rigs and put our packages in the locker? Instead, they say, "no secure location" , or "parcel too big to fit". This latest incident, where they said it's too big, the package was 12x12x8 and our locker is 23x14x15...they redelivered the next day, after I called and told them it WOULD fit...and left it on the ground, in front of the locker...?????? What's that all about? So, I called the post office, spoke to the manager (Craig) and guess what?! He made it out to be my problem, NOT the carriers. Then, he HUNG UP ON ME. Great customer service there! 😡

I got home last night at 11pm and they left a note on my car this morning well before 6am. I've only parked it there once and it was going to be my only time. Don't leave notes on people's windshield and maybe don't bring people their mail past midnight. The mail carriers in Stanwood are rude and lazy.

Stanwood USPS is always as accommodating as possible. After over 15 years working in retail, I know what being on the other side of the counter feels like. I have seen them not only go above and beyond for myself but others while I was waiting in line. Not only do I use USPS for my everyday mail, but have chosen to also use them for the majority of shipping for my small business. I can honestly say I don't absolutely dread going into the Stanwood post office. Thank you for your customer service with a smile!

Maybe I am in the wrong here so I am posting this publicly and objectively as possible. Mailman stopped on the highway today to tell me that they would no longer deliver mail to my address because the red car. As you can see I do not have a driveway and the only place for me to park is in front of my house. I checked and made sure that a vehicle can safely get in and get out with a larger truck to deliver the mail so I am confused as to why they cannot do so with their vehicle. As a side not this is a rural delivery location so it is not one of the common postal vehicle that does not have the "option" to back up. It is a all wheel drive jeep that they are using. The note they post about drive space would be fine if they pictured a house that does not have a driveway as an example but they do not. Also this is a small cluster of mail boxes so I am sorry to any of my neighbors that did not get their mail today as he said that he refused to deliver here today and sped off. Ill issue an inquiry with usps later but figured post here locally first.
