Signing up was easy and fast, and the price was reasonable. The unit itself is very clean and secure and getting into it is very convenient. I've rented from Extra Space Storage before and that's why I know it is a good place to come back to.

I've used this location for the past 4 years, for business purposes. Staff has always been accommodating and willing to work with me. Units are all clean and function well. The price seems to increase every 6 months. I dont love that, but its such a convenient location and I'm treated like a real person here.

This review is mixed. The facility we used is fairly new, is conveniently located and accessible and served our needs. We've rented for around 3 years. I have zero complaints about the facility itself. They regularly checked the units and a few times let us know in a timely manner that we didn't lock it properly so we were able to return and fix the lock. What I'm extremely cranky about (and the reason we discontinued our rental) is the crazy price increase. It feels wrong, though likely not illegal AFAIK, to raise rates over the course of our rental, but our contract initially cost us around $110/mo and was going up a bit each year and was up to $129.00/mo as of last month. We got a notice last week that the rate was jumping to nearly $210.00/mo. As a longer-term customer, I felt shafted (sort of like when my Comcast/Xfinity contract ran out) and while I could have paid had I needed to keep it, I was luckily in a position to be able to discontinue it. My guess is that many are not and would either have to eat the cost or go through the hassle of finding a cheaper place. I haven't researched what they charge for new customers, but I would not recommend long-term use given the potential price gouging you'd likely experience.

After being a customer with Extra Space for five years, they raised my monthly payment to $250 for a 10x10 unit. The same size units were being offered to new customers for $80. This seems like a backwards way to run a business and a horrible way to treat a loyal customer. I immediately moved out so now they can rent to a new person, for a lower price.
