Camp Collins is AMAZING! This was my first experience camping. I was a chaperone for my daughter’s 4th grade outdoor school experience. From the time we got there until the time we left everything was so well organized. Our leader, Chomps was AWESOME!!! The rest of the staff was WONDERFUL!! Camp Collins was fun and informative. I learned so much about Oregon I never knew. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!! It is no small task to feed 200 adults and kids in a short period of time and make every meal tasty and filling! The cabins were HUGE and roomy. Our cabin had plenty of room for the 12 of us. Camp Collins is the BEST!! Many thanks to the entire staff for everything you do and giving us such a memorable camp experience!!

Camp Collins is a amazing place not only for summer camp, but for camps throughout the year.. My oldest two who started out as campers are now on staff and have been for the last few years. We love Camp Collins .

Beautiful beautiful camp. But the food is very bland and the way the camp is run feels a bit disorganized. When we we had a retreat there the first night one cabin didn’t have any power and they didn’t get it fixed till the next day. Also, the first night none of the cabins had porch lights and they were challenging to find. Food often ran out towards the end of meals times and a few people had to go to town to eat. That being said it’s a gorgeous space. The tree tops cabins are well designed and each bed has a space for a suit case and more. The showers have large drains and don’t clog easily. There is a cozy fireplace in the building where we ate lunch.

My daughter had attended every summer for overnight camp since she was 8. Loved it. Is a teen now and over it but still willing to go if her friends go....they also give scholarships to those in need so very much worth it. Never had an issue.

I believe so
Hi Danna, Activities start at 9 AM and end at 4:30 PM. Our bus picks up from Alameda Elementary at 8 AM and the return trip arrives at 5:45 PM. If you have any further questions, check out https://www.ymcacw.org/camps/ymca-camp-collins/summer-day-camps or give us a call at 503.663.5813. Hope this helps!
No, I don't believe so. Parents are required to drop off their kids at the start of the week and pick them up at the end of the week.
