Good movie set up. The food at the confession stand is good and good pricing. I will go to other movies and the prices are way up. So that was good. Set up was interesting. It's like a round circle of movies and the only down side to that is we can here the movies from other places be heard. So that was the sad part.

I’ve been going to this theater for YEARS and I love it but they have the WORST bathrooms ever. Here are some pictures I took yesterday (17Jul22). These are also just a few of what I could’ve taken. I understand that it’s also the responsibility of the guests not to trash bathrooms but for it to be this bad for this long, there’s neglect happening (it’s also the women's bathroom) Hell, I went to Lagoon today and their bathrooms were cleaner.

WOW AMC LAYTON. I won’t be coming here again. This theater used to be the shining star of movie theaters in Layton. I would make a point to come here. It isn’t the service, because the staff is neither great or horrible. It is the cleanliness of this facility is shameful, more specifically the carpets that are covered like confetti with popcorn, and the bathrooms that reek of urine. I first gave the benefit of the doubt, be it from a busy premier weekend, or low staff. But this last time, WOW. Yellowed handed water stains in the toilet, broken-into-next-stall toilet paper holder, floors that clearly haven’t even been spot-mopped, rolls of toilet paper on the floor, and the amazingly and constantly plugged sink. The health department should really be notified. The standards of the visible operations directly correlate with the food operations, always! Really embarrassing for a business in general, and disappointing, for a once welcoming cinema. Side note— the gentleman that checks tickets, the one who is always welcoming patrons with a smile in his wheelchair, he is the only great thing about this place now.

The last couple of times my husband and I have come to a movie at this theater it has been sub par. The bathrooms are not clean, only 1 of 3 of the Freestyle drink machines worked, and there are burned out lights every where. One of the movies we had to ask an employee to start the movie after 10 minutes because it hadn't started at the time stated. I feel like management has gone downhill and bringing in new management would help with these issues.
