Made a reservation on hertz to see if I can rent a vehicle for my trip outta state. They wanted my social and to run my credit when I was only going to rent a car and not buy one. Had a bad experience with them years back and today made my decision to take my services somewhere else.

I had a pleasant experience renting from them. I was involved in a car accident and my car took about a month in a half for the repairs to be done. I had to call several times to extend my rental and they were always very polite and helpful. Thank you Nick for all your help. I rent cars often for road trips and I will definitely be using you guys, again.

Go To another location! Got burned at the last minute here! Read all reviews. I have rented more than 5 times from different Hertz locations in Salt lake City in the last 90 day's. 1st time this one. Today I recieved a call From Nick (Manager at this location?) 4 hours before my pickup time on friday 1-28-22. Message said he was sorry but he rented all the cars and I could not pick up the one I reserved earlyer in the week.He did not have a car fro me at all and I needed to figure something else out! What??? I called back to see what was going on. Nick comfirmed that he was leaving me hanging with a 4 hour notice on a Friday afternoon. ( Apparently this is just something they do) Not just didn't have the car I reserved but No car at all. Nothing! Sorry and nothing I can do about it, is all I got. Again Nick left me hangning on a Friday afternoon with just a voicemail. No solutions, Just Sorry but I'm leaving you screwed. Your problem to figure out! Rent at this Hertz location at your own risk - You might land in SLC airport on a friday afternoon, turn on your phone and get a message telling you a confirmed reservation doesn't mean anything. No car for you! I had to scamble to get a solution. Who does that to people? Well Nick at Hertz does but who else? Second time dealing with Nick, they move him around. Good Luck! Will be using Fox on Redwood next time.
