Been there many times. It's just a real fun place to hang out/camp/go fishing/ bike riding etc etc. They now have a seafood restaurant next to the general stpre!!

Great area for bird watching! Large campground with good facilities, walking paths, picnic sites and fun for the kids. Be sure to try the Tin Fish on site restaurant with a huge patio over one of the lakes.

We take our RV for week long trips. Great place, good fishing, great for grandkids. Lots of playgrounds for kids.

The floating cabins are Sunday-Thursday $110 and Fri, Sat and holidays $145. Have to be reserved well in advance and they are currently booked for the rest of the year I believe. We tried to get a cabin but no luck so we were able to reserve a spot to tent camp last weekend.
Yes, we were there for two weeks and there were people coming and going daily.
Yes, they change the locations of tent approved campsites so check their website map when reserving. They will indicate the tent sites with a green color. I camp here at least 3 times a year when it's too hot for the desert. The kids have a blast every time.
If it fits, I don't see why not.
You can call the office. It depends on short term or extended term. We have a 22 foot with full hookups. In a long term site it is around $40 per day plus electric. Short term around $51 per night.
I just looked and check in is 330. Check out is 1030. https://www.santeelakes.com/cabins-faq/
