Absolutely the best experience and mountain trail ride I've had and I have experienced many different states trail rides. The horses are cared for incredibly well and healthy and happy and the staff is just divine. Felecia was our guide for a private mountain trail ride and she was so wonderful, knowledgeable and had amazing chemistry with the draft horses we rode and she is the kindest soul as well. I highly recommend going to lang's and asking for her to guide you!

After finding out we had a less than stellar Air BnB stay for our girls trip and being a little bummed after a terrible night's sleep on a pull out bed, my friend and I headed out for our preplanned trail ride. We were nervous about this as I hadn't been on a horse in a couple decades and she had never rode before. Boy, oh boy, this visit literally turned our whole girls trip around!!!! The second we got there, the employees welcomed us warmly and made us comfortable quickly! They were so patient and did an excellent job explaining just what we needed to do. The property is just-- GORGEOUS. I can't say enough about it. We took the couples trail ride that ends with a s'mores campfire after an hour's ride. First, it took us into a small arena to get us used to "steering" these sweet horses. Of course, we barely had to do any directing as they were so well trained and obedient that they knew just where to go. We learned so much as our guide explained how the property came to be and how horses "operated". The trail was easy going for us beginners with a couple inclines thrown in to keep things from being stale. I just can't say enough about how relaxing, exciting, beautiful and refreshing this ride was. At the end, we put 'em in park and had some classic marshmallows around a fire that was all ready for us as we watched the most gorgeous sunset across the pond and ducks and geese fly in and out with the sounds of horses in the background. Loved every minute of it and we can't wait to go back!

I definitely recommend Lang’s Horse and Pony Farm. My wife and I did the couple’s trail ride and absolutely loved it. Staff is friendly and the horses appear to be well taken care of. The free t-shirt and s’mores by the campfire were a nice touch.

Beautiful facility grounds with friendly and helpful staff. Our two girls were completely new to horses and they were warmly welcomed and brought up to speed. The week long pony camp and the private lessons are both well worth the money, and the drive.

Yes. As needed. Call to inquire.
The weather is your answer for trail rides, but they do have a large covered area for classes. They have a web site for more information.
Yes, my son just competed for the first time. Not only are the judges fair and encouraging. But, the other competitors showed a very high level of good sportsmanship.
