If I could give 0 stars, I would. Naomi was nearly impossible to get ahold of. We rented a house in University Place and the landlord did the absolute CHEAPEST remodel possible. The "varnish" on the wood floor PEELED up just from being walked on, every surface was covered in sticky semigloss paint, including the bottoms of the cabinets so they were impossible to pull out, etc. Naturally with repairs of that sort we had a lot of issues but basically never heard anything back about the tickets we filed and the landlord always directed us to speak to BCI. The only time anything got fixed in a reasonable span of time was when we threatened legal action over them dragging their feet to get our septic tank drained, forcing us to avoid using toilets and having to do laundry elsewhere. I will, in the future, avoid dealing with BCI at any cost.

here to give my final review! We have been with BCI PROPERTIES for 5 years and we never had any issues with them at all. They’ve always worked with us and met all of our expectations. They’ve always took care of us and never let us down. We worked with Naomi, Maria & Tanisha throughout the 4 years and they gave us a great experience of being with them! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could and I highly recommend them to everyone.😃 thank you Naomi and the BCI Team as well for everything. We appreciate you guys!

3stars, July 2018: When we wanted to move in, our property manager Naomi was tremendously helpful. We initially weren't going to get the house because someone had applied before us, but luckily, their application fell through and ours was successful. We got in, we did a walk-through, we signed our lease. All was well and good. We moved into the house, everything was fine. We added a roommate, then exchanged that one for another, then another. They've totally accommodated that. However. When our sewer backed up because this is an old Tacoma house, and there was raw sewage all over the basement floor, BCI was MIA. We put in a request. They said they would get ahold of the plumbing company (morning). Well, 5 o'clock rolled around and we hadn't heard anything. I called and was told I could call the plumbers. Of course, when I did, they said that BCI hadn't been in touch until 3 pm, that they booked an appointment for 3 days from then, and that unless the situation was marked "urgent" by BCI, there was nothing they could do sooner. I'm pretty sure everyone considers feces on the floor urgent. But BCI couldn't take care of this. It took another day and a half to get handled. The woman who works the desk, Maria, should be given 6 raises and a promotion, because she works a million times harder than anyone else in the office. She knows all of the answers when I call. Naomi, on the other hand, is completely unavailable. Doesn't respond to a call or a voicemail. Their contact form on their website is garbage. I haven't been able to pay my bill on my computer (can only do it from my phone) and reached out to resolve this -- no response. Jermaine does inspections every 6 months. He's super relaxed and nice. Just texts to find a day that works to come by. We haven't done the move out process, yet, but I'm dreading it. Luckily, we took photographs upon move-in, so we have evidence of what it looked like prior. Our move-in form was very detailed with all issues. We'll make sure we follow their move-out cleaning checklist, and pray we're not gouged like many of the other reviewers here. 2 stars, Update Feb 2019: we moved out in January and now they are attempting to take a large portion of our security deposit for cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom, without providing us details of what was not considered clean or receipts of whatever company apparently charges exorbitant prices for cleaning something that's already clean. And of course we took move out pictures, do they think we didn't? 1 star, Update 2 Feb 2019: my original review was posted 7 months ago and never responded to. Today, BCI responded in a very professional fashion, and accused us of double reviewing them. I don't know Jaimie, and I don't know where she lived, but it wasn't with us. P.S. BCI likes to fly a big trump 2020 flag at their office, so take your business elsewhere.

After owning our homes for years we moved to the area and decided to rent until we found the right part of town for our family. BCI was quick to step in and help us locate a rental property. The home was a good fit for what we needed at the time, and Naomi did an exceptional job communicating with us every step of the way. A few months into our lease we started experiencing a couple strange issues with billing (at the time, billing was handled by Maria). We always paid rent on time, often paying a couple weeks early, and we never put in maintenance requests. The times we paid rent over a week early, we got double charged for that month's rent. Each time we had an issue, Naomi was very easy to reach and always eager to fix the problem for us. We could always depend on her for a resolution. She's hard working and good at what she does. The world could use more people like her. I have nothing but good things to say about BCI and the experience we had with them. I hope they're taking good care of Naomi. She definitely deserves it.

Yes, we can help with that. What we do is ask you to pick out the home you want and then we contact the owner for you to ask if we can make their home into a Rent to Own. Some will gladly do this, but of course some do not.
