This place truly helped me and kept me from dying. I can't believe it gets such low reviews. Overall, the staff is truly nice and caring. I remember a couple of staff, that seemed a little not as nice and caring as the others. But who cares, cause im an fukin angel all the time too lol They will literally send you home with medication, set up to get more if needed too, to the pharmacy of your choosing. They will help you set up an aftercare program, ex. Inpatient or outpatient and meetings. Facility is very clean. Yea, definitely go if you are thinking about it 😉 😘 I honestly would have given it 4.5 stars, I gotta try to make him less and less powerful at the time. Lol hope this truly helps someone.

I honestly didn't think I'd leave and return home without having another attempt, the staff was extremely kind, thoughtful and brought hope to my life. Every staff member i met treated me with true kindness; as I did the same. A few things may need improvement but that doesn't change my five star review at all. Addition to my review: Today is Mother's Day and knowing how sentimental my child is about holidays, I can only conclude that she has not been given access to a phone to check in with family. The veil of secrecy with which my child's goings on has been exercised, leads me also to no conclusion other than I should be fearful of my child's safety and wellbeing. I am seeing reviews here that people are denied clean clothes, proper nutrition, and meds forced on them. I want a call from my child where she has complete privacy so she can tell me she is not being mistreated. This feels like kidnapping and custodial interference. I will be retaining an Attorney. Report has been filed with the State. I do not appreciate this facility speaking to me as a parent of a patient as if I am guilty of some kind of crime. I understand that sometimes children come into this facility due to abuse, neglect, police involvement, no contact orders, and a whole host of other situations. In my child's case none of this is applicable. I also do not appreciate the fact that I spoke to 3 different people in one day who apparently don't compare notes and I had to tell my daughter's whole story 3 different times. It was also in very poor taste that the 1st person who called me when I even found out that my daughter was in your facility was someone from the insurance office stating simply "I need your daughter's insurance information" . I was very taken aback by this and thought it was handled very poorly because at that point no one had even called me to tell me that my daughter was in your care. When I asked the woman who called me "what is this about" she was confused about why I was confused. It seems like there is a big problem with lack of communication at this facility. Lastly, because of the fact that all 3 people I spoke with confirmed that children at this facility do not have access to educational services, I have filed a formal complaint with the Washington Department of Health. This is the epitome of educational neglect. My daughter is in an accredited online home school program and she is not being allowed access to do her school. The fact that this facility does not see the value and necessity of children maintaining ties to their education is deplorable. I will be filing a complaint and request for review into this facility for this reason via every other possible method and means I can find.

Awesome Facility and Staff! Very likely helped to save my life after a very dark time. I recommend SSBH 200% to anyone in mental health crisis. They got my head together with counseling, rest, nutrition and medication and they treated me like a human being. The other Patients were pretty great as well. Groups were educational and fun. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was pretty minor! The ward I was on was very, very cold! The food could have been better (it wasn't too bad but had room for improvement) and Caffeine was not allowed! Coffee/Tea/Soda was all decaf. Small issues to be honest. I would go back if I ever needed help and would happily recommend this Hospital to others!
