The facility consistently states a deliver attempt was made. This notice occurs first thing in the A.M. ~ 7:30 before the mail truck is even in the area. Its obvious they are not making an attempt at all. The staff that work the counter are less then friendly too and if you think you're going to call and talk to anyone...think again. Folks...PLEASE, PLEASE, take the time to contact the inspector general or other USPS complaint line about this. We don't pay tax for this kind of treatment. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I wil second many of the other reviewers on here. We just moved to the area and after a month of getting mail we stopped receiving mail. We have also had issues with envelopes not being delivered and being requested to reschedule delivery. This never happened at any of our previous cities and locations in the area. Is this normal in Lake Stevens?

Suddenly they tell me that my home is vacant which is hardly accurate. So no mail, no packages , nothing. All my mail is being forwarded though they can’t tell me where Zoe why my home is labeled as vacant. Submitted a ticket to have this issue resolved and they came back with “ issue resolved file a vacant slip”. Horrible service and no one knows where my mail is.

My PO Box renewal notice said I had until January 31st to pay my bill. I returned a week later and paid my bill on the 12th, the next time I checked my box, they had returned my payment with a large sticker that showed an increase of $38 (25%), as apparently, there was a price increase on the 10th, even though it doesn't say that anywhere on the envelope. I tried for a week to contact the Postmaster and the phone just rang. I called another Post Office and left a message, only to have one of the clerks at this post office (not the Postmaster) return my call. Apparently, the price increase is done at a federal level so there's nothing they can do about it, and they weren't able to accept a partial payment or make good on the cost that is still clearly on the envelope. Who in their right mind gives someone thirty days to pay a bill and increase the price within ten days?? Why isn't the notice sent out in December with a notice that the price will increase January 10th if not paid before then? The people in 'authority' get 0 stars, the clerks at this location are fine with me, but know that others have had issues, but I still think it's the higher ups that are setting a poor example and don't give a ---- about anyone.

I believe due to lack of demand for business on the weekend, thus cutting expense cost. Understandable being such a tiny post office and all.
Go online to usps.com....should be able to look up location and number.
They haven't started work yet. Could be a few months
Thats a question for the ages, Ive never had a post office quite like Lake Stevens. Most of the time my mail and packages go to my neighbors and vice versa, even though I've lived here over two years and my neighbors longer. Good luck
