Ordered a carry out order. When we arrived order had been given to someone else. Almost no apology. Was told we could wait for it to be remade. That took another 30 mins on top of the 40 we waited originally. No compensation offered. Waiting to feed your family that long is unacceptable. It’s up to the front person to hand out orders. To give it to the wrong person and not offer a refund is the worst customer service. We started doing carry out because our last two in store experiences were so bad. Horrible service and rude staff. This is the final straw.

Breakfast at Bob's is very good. If they still had cornmeal mush and waffles (not thick Belgian, but traditional ones) it would be great. Lunch/dinner at Bob's is good, but seems they try to keep up with trends and stray away from their own strengths. Keep doing what you're good at....good ol' American cuisine, especially at breakfast.

I went to Bob Evans because I was craving an omelet. I get there, get seated right away, I get my drink right away, I was duly impressed with the speed of all of that. I placed my order, and my food came fairly quickly. I finished my sweet tea halfway through my meal. I continued eating, waiting for someone to pass me by so that I could flag them down to get a refill. I was completely forgotten until well after I finished my meal, when I was able to flag a completely different waitress down and say "Hey I'm thirsty can I get a refill on my sweet tea." She was wonderful, got it for me right away. Apologized for the other server. It was another 10 minutes before I even saw my waitress and she's like "I'll bring you your check." I was a server for 10 years and I've never seen such pitiful service. The restaurant was not busy, and when I walked in I could see five servers so I knew there was plenty of staff. This was not a staffing shortage issue. This was a poor server issue.

Good Bob Evans. The food here was good by Bob Evans standards. The waitress was super nice to my special needs son. She went out of her way to make sure he was happy and even gave him his favorite color color straw. Solid 5 stars for this Bobs.
