Professional, friendly, clean, quiet, and affordable! I can't complain about a thing. Our cat was able to stay here for free. We never had an issue getting ahold of the staff. Every issue was taken care of quickly. Every room is clean. Of course, if you get a smoking room, it will smell like cigarettes. We had a non-smoking and smoking room. The non-smoking room did not smell like smoke. Room service checks in daily for toiletries and trash. Yes it's by the highway but it's still quiet especially at night. The manager does regular checks at night to ensure there is no disturbances.

The bathtub had a dirt ring and hair on the bottom of tub along with no plug if I had wanted to soak in a hot bath. We had the WORST bed I have EVER experienced. It sloped into the middle and every time my husband or I moved it creaked and squeaked...SO VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. When I went into the office to see about changing rooms, no one was at front desk and after waiting 4 minutes (yes, I timed) I went back to my room. If it hadn't been 11:30pm, we would have left and disputed charge.

Positive: The bed was comfortable. Negative: The shower did not work! No breakfast; no coffee; no shampoo; no tissues; no paper. This was a far cry from the things I liked most at Motel 6. Never again at this motel.

I had the same question because I hate making plans when I am traveling and love that Motel 6 always takes dogs. Other chains it depends on who owns it. So like most of the less expensive chains some are owned by the company and others are a franchise. Lazy franchise owners don't invest in their business but let it go to weeds and mold. I don't know why Motel 6 allows this but I make them show me a room first because I made the mistake of staying at Motel 6 in Rapid City. Another thing during the slow season the less expensive motels accept vouchers from various organizations allowing homeless people a shelter from the cold. Good idea unless you can't stay on top of it. Kicking out dirty, loud people or drug addicts. The hotel you are asking about is probably under new management I stayed in winter and it was fine it didn't seem like they accepted any vouchers for homeless people. If they do that's great and are keeping control of their property but I wasn't aware of it.
No, i wouldn't stay there again
That is odd, the hotel is nice, clean, some small minor issue, but the staff was not the best trained. You get what you pay for, if your looking to just be checked in and out, it is great, if you want extras, do not stay here. But clean nice room = this is a great deal.
My room was great when I stayed, no bugs at all. Maybe you should have asked to be moved to another room and let management know of the issue so another guest won't have the same issues
