Sent me a email for a bail payment. I don’t have a bail so it seemed odd. I called and was hung up on. I’m pretty sure this is all a scamAshley - Thanks for sharing this frustrating experience. Any emails received would have been sent on behalf of the company requesting payment. They are legitimate though there must have been a mixup this time around. you guys are lying on these reviews i have been using paynearme for pg&e and Comcast for over a year with amounts up to 150$ all sucessfully

Used this today for the second time sending a large amount to pay a bill ..almost 24 hours later the money has not been posted to my account ..customer service avoided answering any questions ..will not be using pay near me again..website says the biller can see payments instantly LIES..the company I paid said no payment is showing up..I asked paynearme customer service if my money doesn’t post to my account could I get a refund no answer just kept repeating a freaking confirmation number!! I do not recommend using this service especially if your bill is due the day you make the payment using this service you will be disconnected or face late charges waiting for your payment to post
