I've been banking with Washington Federal since 2006 when they were First Mutual Bank. I recommend them to my clients that I set up, review, and train one-on-one in QuickBooks and Quicken on Beacon Hill. Why? Because unlike US Bank, they allow free downloads into both of those software packages.

Washington Federal did modify the name, to WaFd Bank. We are still the same bank you trust. We launched the simplified name because the previous title did not emphasize that we are a bank. Our solution? Put the word “bank” in our name - WaFd Bank.
