Seems like this place is always busy. But the good news. The last couple of times I bought a large item like an appliance their wait time for delivery had been over a month. Bought a dryer on Friday and it is being delivered on Tuesday. And it's a holiday weekend. So they may be on a much more acceptable delivery schedule now. Still did not have very many associates to assist customers. That's why the 4 stars. There were a lot of people waiting for help or walking around obviously in need of help. They were doing the best they could, but still could use a few more staff.

The cashier, a thin older lady, was super helpful and friendly. She helped us get our military discount and was very efficient!

If I could GIVE them a no star, I would. DO NOT BUY YOUR MAJOR APPLIANCE FROM ANY LOWE'S. THEY USE 3RD PARTY DELIVERY PERSONEL. THEY DO NOT DELIVER THEMSELVES. I purchased a dryer on Monday, it was promised today Wednesday June 8th. Received a call from Southern Border. Almost didn't answer but was waiting on driver from Lowe's to call. 2 men came with the dryer but refused to take to basement. The littlest one was very bilgerent, mouthy and because I brought my papers into the house to call Lowe's of Chapline St. to tell them they refused to take the dryer to basement, the man threatened to call police in front of my 6 and 8 year old grandsons, having them screaming and crying thinking that I was going to be hauled off to jail by the police. Making a traumatic scene just because they were too lazy to do the job at hand. Because I would not sign a paper saying they did thier job, they stole my already paid for dryer. The bank said Lowe's already thier money, but I have no appliance. The team told thier boss thier was something on the steps. I am disabled. It is a landing that I use when bringing up laundry from basement that snaps in and out of place. All they had to do was say something to my husband and in a few seconds it could be removed. My husband and son in law carried up the old dryer out of the basement and it is sitting on the drive way, something that Lowe's was suppose to do. Wheeling Chapline Street Store Manager Chris did not return my last call but instead had the Lowe's in Pittsburgh call. Now, my dryer will not be delivered until Friday. I told them the old one is sitting on the driveway and for the inconvenience I would like to be refunded the $40. They should give us more than that. We will keep check on the card to see if the refund shows up. I did have the call on speaker phone, so everyone heard about the refund. Lowe's is not a customer Friendly store. All of my appliances have been bought there, but I will go to Menard's before buying from them again. Lowe's will not have any of my business or families business ever again. DO NOT BUY MAJOR APPLIANCES FROM LOWE'S.

I love this Lowes. I go often I'm a do it yourself guy and artisian. The staff here is usually very helpful. Nice along the Ohio River location hard to miss.
