I knew I left my wallet there. It didn’t show up for a couple of days. My biggest thanks to Jenny Z for being crafty and getting ahold of me. After repeated calls, I had given up on trying to recover it. All $130 was still in it. I heard it’s very common for wallets to find their way to the front desk with the trustworthy people working there.

They have some good sales occasionally, had some great prices on seafood that was very fresh. No complaints at all.

I love shopping at Safeway, but if you care about your prescriptions do not trust the pharmacist. David was rude, hung up on me, ignored my callback, then proceeded to answer third call and informed me that “even if I complain”, there is nothing anyone can do because he “runs” the pharmacy section. I’d love to see what Jess the location owner thinks about that.

The solid choice for groceries in Dallas. I'd recommend it before Walmart, but after Grocery Outlet (though, GO often won't have everything you may need). I've seen a lot of versions of this Safeway over 3 decades and it's always been good, but not great. Definitely getting spendy.

I was told a new Grocery Outlet store is coming to Dallas. It might be just gossip, I honestly don't know. But I agree Safeway prices seem high, even with their card.
I haven't had that experience. Even when they are really busy, they have gotten to me as quickly as possible. I usually have great service there.
Thier hours changed recently. I get off of work very late and was very disappointed that they changed thier hours. Finding food after 11 is extremely difficult in this town.
Safeway carries many prepaid card. Visa is reliable, safe and easy.
Since the bottles have gone up to .10 cents, the limit now is $14.40 with max of 144 bottles. (Per person) With my personal experience, the machines cut off after that but you can always do more if you have some. Sometimes this Safeway here in Dallas, the clerks will let you cash in a few extra dollars of bottles if you had a little more with a small cash ticket. Hope that helps!
