We just left our stay here and it is most definitely on my 'will stay again' list. PRO TIP: BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THEM...NOT THROUGH EXPEDIA. Every single person we encountered there was extremely friendly. Great location, easy bay access, everything we needed in our duplex (if it wasn't in there they happily accommidated), clean and centrally located to everything we wanted to see in Coos Bay! Fun very well done murals all over too!

I love the little kitchenette and the walking trail thst they have made across the way , it was rather a very unique experience. Very comfy room , friendly

If you have any appreciation for local art you will love the painted buildings of the Plainview Motel. The scenes painted on all the buildings reflect the local wildlife and surrounding area. The rooms are decent and clean, and offer a kitchenette, which is a nice change from our single burner camp stove. You can do laundry here, and there are plenty of services a few miles down the road in Coos Bay. We use this place as a base when we can't camp in the area, but still want to explore the summer time beauty of Cape Arago. The room prices are fair, and you actually get a lot of bang for your buck. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and the beds are comfy as well.

It’s clean, comfortable, welcoming staff and very affordable. If you don’t mind old and small it’s a great place. Wi-Fi was good and never dropped. Good water pressure and hot shower, despite its very tiny size. I stayed in rooms 8&6. Great kitchenette with small fridge/freezer and micro wave. Across the street is a 4 minute easy walk to a cute sand beach where I lost all my cloths for a few hours all to myself. I’ll be back when the king tides roll in at Shoreacres Gardens.
