Quiet place! On river. Nice walking trail too! Cell service is a hit or miss

I didn't like this place. A couple of loud groups and barking dogs ruined the experience for me. I found that I enjoyed the campgrounds out by Forks a lot more than here. Just more wild and beautiful out there and way more to do in the surrounding area. Other campers said the warden here is really mean but I never met him in the 3 days I stayed.

A beautiful, secluded place. Giant moss-covered trees, ferns, and the Lyre river runs near through most every site. A hidden gem for sure!!

Less than a dozen designated Camp spots, with less than half of those being actually on the river itself. However, that makes for a more private camping experience with respectable distance in between each camp site. Park access passes required at certain times of the year, please check for regulations ahead of time. If you found this post/photos fulfill the requirements for what you generally look for in a review, please be kind and let me with a "π". Looking forward to have helped!

Yes, first come first serve and free with Discover Pass
Yes, but not as bad as dungeness recreational area
It's open and has snow right now open year round with discover pass
Yes with a Discover Pass. However there aren't many spots (first-come, first-served) and you can't fit a trailer around the tight turns. Need to have an RV that's 30' or under.
I completely agree with the others and the fire pits are great, i suggest you bring plenty of your own wood
WA discovery pass required. First come first served AFAIK.
It fills up pretty quick so not guarantee. It's a first come first serve campground.
Yes it is open, any vechile can manage the road. Campsite #4 is flooded. All other campsites are fine. Pack it in, pack it out.
Pass is required, that is the only fee
Usually the price to camp includes the discovery pass.
