What's going on? I am seeing a lot of expired car tab license plates driving around! Why are there so many expired car tab license plates driving around without repercussion?! This makes me wonder, why am I paying for my car tab?! This doesn't seem fair to those who made their effort to pay for it. Amazing.

I am a security somewhere in Lynnwood and I am GREATFUL for the the people that respond and care about me when I have to call 911. Your Men and Women have been personally kind to speak to and your response is second to none! GOD BLESS YOU ALL and I pray for your safety.

My few encounters with the officers from this department were all very unfortunate experiences and to be completely honest I've seen my share of officers unfortunately and I have no problem owning the fact that I made poor choices that caused me to find myself in the back of 1 to many officers cars wearing cuffs so I completely understand that I wouldn't have had so many encounters with them if I had made better choices and also if or when I did end up coming into contact with them while not breaking the law I'm sure they might have been less unpleasant tords me. But the fact of the matter is that they are out there to enforce the law and to ensure they do what they can to keep our communities safe and so while doing this they are expected to deal with a pretty hefty number of different people on a day to day basis so in doing this they will have to deal with all kinds of people and some will be law breakers some not some will be easy to deal with and others not so much either way its their responsibility to carry out their daily duties in a manner thats responsible, respectable, and that follows the rules, laws, and guidelines that they are all trained to follow so no matter who or what it is their dealing with its still the same it doesn't change from person to person, yes each situation calls for the appropriate actions thats understandable and expected but they way that they treat a person the amount of respect they show to people and just their overall behavior tords the people they see on the job its supposed to be something that they handle without letting their own personal feelings tords things get intertwined into the way they carry out their job and if they cant do that then their just as bad as the criminals they deal with so being hostile, aggressive, using their legal position improperly to inflict fear and making people feel completely powerless, joking together and laughing amongst themselves like its amusing to them, speaking to people in a way that my worst enemy would its out of line completely and its degrading and disrespectful its terrifyingly unsettling to watch them while they treated me worse than almost anyone I've ever felt with and doing so as if it was fun for them making it very clear there is nothing I was able to say or do about it. 1 occasion I recall stands out most where one of the officers from their department told me that "if you have a issue with how I'm acting thats too bad deal with it and if you think your gonna get anywhere trying to complain to someone about it think again doing that will only cause you to see the inside of our jail before anyone will actually care about how I'm treating a common criminal like yourself maybe if you had some family that actually cared about you or some real money then you might have a little more of a shot but since your just a broke junkie no family or anyone who cares its a long shot and a waste of time to even imagining yourself doing something about it I know who you are and trust me I'm pretty sure that its far beyond your abilities to do anything about how I act or how I treat you so stop kidding yourself and asking questions cus your only going to make it worse for yourself." This was because he was acting very aggressive to me talking to me very mean so I asked for his information like badge number and he got even more aggressive tords me I tried to pull out my phone and record while this was going on and that angered him further he told me that i wasn't allowed to grab nothing cus I asked if I could get my phone and he continued to tell me all I needed to do was shut up and listen to what he said I'll never forget that it was a experience that had left a long impression on me so that's why I wanted to comment about LPD its scary how they act they don't seem to be able to perform their jobs without misusing their position and to think that they are able to enforce the law while acting this way its a joke. I'll even bet the majority of the positive comments are all from people who they know personally attempting to cover up

I recently lost my wallet in the Kenmore area, and some kind person (thank you!) turned it in to the Lynnwood Police Department. Both officers I came into contact with to recover it, Sergeant Segan and Officer McBride at the evidence storage, were very professional and very nice, and both made multiple attempts to try to contact me and get my missing property back to me. I couldn't have asked for better service. I realize that some people have issues with the police. To them I can only say that the police are human, and they make mistakes just like the rest of us. Personally, I always treat them as I would like to be treated myself, and I've never had the slightest problem. Most people can't even imagine the kind of things that your typical police officer sees and experiences in the course of his career. Maybe you could bear that in mind the next time you have a contact? At the end of the day, these guys are ready and willing to lay down their lives for us, complete strangers. I'm just glad they're out there to protect us. And if you don't like getting tickets, try obeying the traffic laws for a change. They're there for a reason. I do, and I've only had one traffic ticket in the last 25 years.

Can a person get a ticket parking in a handicap space from a picture taken at the time.

Tickets are issued at the spot or on the occasion where law enforcements authorities present so the maximum if someone files lawsuit against car parked inproperly that lead to some damages would be possibility. My opinion does not present facts and can not be considered as legal advice and of course you are obliged to follow rules, regulations and local guidelines.

Was my van towed

I would call the Lynnwood Police business line and ask. But if there are tow company signs where you parked then I would try them also. Or, you could call the main tow companies in the area, Mary's towing, R&R Star, and Shannon are the 3 I would try.
