It has fun limited edition as well as delicious classic flavors. You are able to get free samples. Service was great, the staff was very friendly and kind. Price is a little pricey but you had to go at least once. I liked the sea salt with caramel ribbon, chocolate gooey brownie and cold brew flavors. Marionberry coconut is kinda tart. For parking you have to pay for meter.

Very unusual ice cream flavors. Did try the Pear and blue cheese! Did not get that strong of the blues cheese flavor unless you bite into a blue cheese. The olives flavors is good too. Otherwise, stuck with the usual, but then why are you here 😂

The ice cream parlor is cute and artsy. It's located in the fun and vibrant Alphabet District. The staff are friendly as they welcome you in and allow you to try different flavors. The ice cream was a bit gummy and chewy, but maybe some people prefer that over smooth and creamy. Loved the brownie and sea salt and caramel flavors! The lavender and honey flavor reminded me of soap and lotions. The mint chip ice cream had an interesting after taste that was off-putting. Maybe it's really good ice cream and I just don't have the sophisticated pallet to understand it.

The menu was intimidating at first, but I went for the non-traditional flavors and I am so glad I did! Pear & Blue Cheese was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The strawberry balsamic was so surprisingly delicious, sweet tart and creamy. The staff was super helpful and was patient with our large party and all of our questions and requests for tastings even on a busy Saturday night. Oh and one of the best things was walking in and smelling the fresh waffle cones, which they must know people love because you could buy a candle or spray with that scent! They even had their own ice cream cook book for sale. Overall, a great place to visit for a unique dessert while on vacation!

That's a good idea to speed things along for regular customers, but what makes Salt n Straw different from Baskin Robins is that near the end of the line a staff member will greet you, explain the menu, offer samples of the ice cream flavors and answer any questions as one would expect when purchasing high end gourmet ice cream.
Barriers between workers and customers, spacing for the line, no tastes, and limited people inside.
Street parking only. Make sure to follow the signs/markings regarding parking.
I'd second that. Avoid going there post 7pm. You can get your order without standing in line if you visit before lunch.. or between 3-5
Yes, in the back.
They do! I tried their roasted strawberry coconut and it was delicious :)
Sugar cones, waffle cones, cups and sundaes. Lots of taste testing. If you know what you want, you can grab a pint to go and pretty much skip the line. It is the absolute best ice cream.
