I am very upset. We bought 3 Red Oak trees for our neighborhood front entryway. Along with 4 Texas Sage and 2 Purple Fountain Grasses. It has been less than 3 weeks and one of our trees has already died. I’ve been extremely vigilant as far as watering goes. I have been gardening for 20 years and I know what I am doing. The leaves on the tree turned brown, not yellow so it has nothing to do with watering. I took a closer look at the other 2 Red Oaks the other night because it looked like there was sap all over it. I turned the leaf over and noticed it was COVERED in Aphids. I began turning leaves over and literally every single leaf is covered in them. This is the worst Aphid infestation I have ever seen in my life. It is what killed the one tree and it has now spread to the other two. These trees were kept away from any other vegetation since we received them. The trees on my property are completely free of any insect so I know for a fact they did not come from my property. The infestation is so bad that these trees have had to have been purchased already infested. I called the nursery hoping to somehow remedy this and make it right and one of the owners told me she would do nothing but give me the solution to spray on the aphids. That won’t help the one tree that’s already dead. She also informed me they spray for insects when every season changes, have hundreds of trees there but don’t spray every single tree if they “look fine” these trees are in 20 gallon pots and are at least 15 feet tall. I guarantee you they do not get on ladders and check hundreds of trees to ensure they are all insect free I asked her why our trees came infested then if they did indeed spray? 🤔 she had no answer for me. Needless to say we will no longer be purchasing anything from their nursery ever again and I will be letting everyone know that they do not stand behind their trees. We tried to support a local business but from now on we will buy from Lowes where they at least guarantee their trees and plants for a year. Very sad and disappointed to basically throw $500 down the toilet. I highly suggest not buying from them.

Staff was very useful and helpful. Even after my tree was installed, I called to purchase another tree and they were able to get it to me the same day. Definitely recommend this nursery.
