Confusing bureaucratic process that is not helpful to the claimant. Good luck getting benefits even if clearly eligible!

Well. Look at all the other reviews. That will sum it up quickly. We can do better than this ohio. They want all your information under the moon. No need for that.

Ohio unemployment employees are wasting tax payers money and are completely corrupt. Customer service is worst I have ever seen. They mislead, undermine and flat out misrepresent customers. They mailed me a paper check the voided check as soon as I received it. Now the want me to mail checks back before they can reissue payment. I'm sure checks would mysteriously disappear. All employees should be fired. They are still working from home and wasting tax payer money. The director Matt Damschroder should be fired and prosecuted

I regret having ever applied for PUA, because it has been nothing but stress since the day I applied for it. In my years of dealing with this office I have found that it is quite literally impossible to reach an actual human being. Call them and all you get is an endless loop of robotic/automated responses.. email them and you get an automated response telling you that they do not respond to emails. So pretty much if you have any issues you've got to cross your fingers and hope things all work out.. because the office of unemployment does absolutely nothing to provide any assistance to Ohio residents using their service. What a waste of tax payer dollars.

They laid off all the humans. Replaced them with computers that make sure you can't collect any money, because their program is full of problems and tells you that you have to talk to someone on the phone. And we all know how impossible because there is only one employee at the switchboard!
good luck they suck dick
Call and when it picks up immediately press 1 then 0. After the 53 second speech, press 3 twice slowly. You will get either that #1->your call will be recorded or #2->something about the massive amount of calls. If you get #2, hang up and repeat. If you get #1, you're in line on hold and will be waiting upto 60+ minutes until you reach someone. Unfortunately, they are horrible at their jobs and often you will have to do this multiple times to actually get someone who knows what they are doing and willing to take the time to do it. As I write this, I am on hold for my 4th call today just trying to get to a Claims Processing Center and get answers on my claim that has been pending for 43 days thus far.
This is no longer an office for them. Call 614-466-2319 or 877-644-6562, they are so busy they said you have to stay on them. Good luck!
It took me 7 weeks just to get approved. That's calling every single day and had the same problem. I'd be on hold for over an hour only to be put on hold so they could ask someone else how to help me and wait 3 hours on them only to be disconnected. This happened every day for a week. I was also supposed to get paid back to the date I became unemployed and it was only for the 7 week's since I applied so I am starting the whole process over once again! Hope you have patience because you're going to need it!! And to answer your question where are all the workers, well that's simple... they're sitting at home collecting unemployment benefits! Lol
I would ask a lawyer this....
You have to find parking there. I parked around the corner but afterwards I noticed a parking garage across the street

I don't think that would help. It took me nearly 8 weeks to get approved. That's for state benefits, PUA I've heard is faster. You're stuck until you get a determination. If you're denied, look into PUA because if you don't qualify for state unemployment then you most likely qualify for PUA. Just be sure to have your denial letter because you can't apply without it and wait one day. If you get approved be prepared because you have to go through the process all over again to to recieve your backpay if you're seeking it beyond the date you first applied. I hope you're a patience person because it's a requirement to get through it
No, there closed. Have to call and may be on hold for an hour but well worth it
Sure
Go on line
If I have to answer my own question, I'd say that your own people should recognize a system issue and notify those responsible for fixing it, and post a notice that your system has issues and they are being addressed. Or just let us view the chat busy and high volume on the phone and suggest we go to the errant website.
Sadly, the only way to really get information is to keep consistancy with unemployment benefits and having to fight them on this. They're not very good at answering simple questions, so your best bet is to call or go online.
You should be able to... and while at it sue your Supervisor/company for unlawful termination.
I would like to know how do I file for a extention
It all depends on your company but I see why not..
no
They will send u a w2 or you can access this online at odjfs.gov
This is happening to me somewhere along the line they might have a question for your eligibility an they will hold it til they get the answer from your or your last employer
I called mine in an I filled out the one online where I file my weekly claim
If you have your weeks in then the money should be in. How long has it been that you filed? And yes they should send you a letter if denied but if you put in all your weeks then you should be fine. You can check the process of the file online in your unemployment account.
You can file by calling or online, for me Online will give you a better ease then calling. Did your job give you any paper work?
They do
oh i know thats y im gonna find the main office im pissed
Go online reopen your application an file again but it may have been something you said on your initial filing
If u have any current weeks to file it went threw its just pending
good luck they suck at the job they get paid to do
Try to file for FAFSA see if the Pell grant can help its $5,950
